September 14, 2022 at 11:28 am #115877Dr. DParticipantWe’re definitely getting some bizarre items out of Russia now. I think the people we see are not written in, and from what I can tell, have some bizarre millennial ideas about what wars are. Go home and hide under your bed then.
What are any of them talking about? Russia hasn’t even started to fight. They lifted their first pinky finger only yesterday by cutting off the power. And they’ve lost? They haven’t used and Migs or fired any hypersonics. And they’ve lost? 2/3rds the army is still home. And they’ve lost?
C’mon, I don’t know who any of these guys are, and we’re the losingest military on planet earth for generations, and even WE know all that talk is … insane.
Take a breath. When they battlefield nuke every acre inside the new cauldron, erasing every member of the armed forces and every NATO asset in existence, we can get them back up on TV again to ask what they think.
Is that a way to say Russia has options? A lot of them? And that people on TV have no idea what they’re talking about, West or East?
“FBI Tracks Down Mike Lindell on Hunting Trip, Surrounds His Car and Seizes Cell Phone”
It’s a safe bet they don’t have anything or they wouldn’t need all the theatre. They’d just press charges instead. Btw, are all J6 still in the Bastille, no charges yet? How many years can you be held before a “Speedy trial”?
A: Ask Assange.
“The US and its allies are in talks over whether to send Ukraine more advanced weapons in the future, including fighter aircraft,”
What future, what aircraft? NATO is incapable of air flight anywhere Russia wishes. Biden has succeeded in his complete Slavic genocide, fighting to the last Ukrainian, widely discussed, approved, and advertised. As Russia closes the cauldron, the remaining army – and every slavic male – will be killed. Ukraine will cease to exist as an ethnos. That means there is no future to consider, and why Germany and the U.S. know all they have to do is foot-drag and can get away providing nothing.
But: Nazi. “Genocides R Us.” And all for great leader, propaganda, as their weird failed political form goes.
Redacted appears and I’m trying to get a lock on where they come from, but they asked what are the Ukie soldiers doing? They think they’re winning. Lies are all they’ve been told. They’re just about to take Moscow. All NATO is fighting with them. The Russians are on the run. In fact, they – NeoNATO – is completely uncaring, to make a few gains they can’t hold, running unarmed men into machine gun fire and artillery strikes. Why? Only guess is genocide, and to hold the illusion one more day. Like the Reich did as they approached Berlin.
“Kremlin Denies Plans for War Declaration & National Draft (ZH)”
I realize this discussion is a trial balloon to gauge public support, and demonstrate that to NATO.
“A few weeks like this and the European economy will just go into a full stop. Recovering from that is going to be much more complicated than intervening in gas markets today..”
So many things we haven’t considered because we never have or never would, but yes: like a refinery, if you shut down a chemical plant, I don’t know what it takes to restart it again. Some things are odd to restart: ironically it takes grid-level power to start a power plant. But how about a steel mill or city-sized bakery? If you shut the gas of that size, does it cause back-pressure problems elsewhere? This happens when a neighborhood substation goes dark, but the system isn’t infinite.
We’ll all find out.
“Berlin Prepares Massive Energy Bailout (RT)”
I’m confused by the words “bailout” here. Wtf “bailout” do they mean? We pay money and yet more money? Which will solve the problem by requiring more money? And after we pay money, no energy appears?
“I don’t think that word mean what you think it mean.”
Because printing money ever-rapidly, without end, for no solution sounds like “Hyperinflation”. That is, failure of faith in government.
“The whole West is turning into a police state, where the government controls all the media and criminalizes dissent”
This is the sign and proof of weakness and collapse. Weakness bc if you’re winning, you can tell the truth, collapse bc nobody’s going to support your violent nonsense where the people are the target.
“What’s Behind the Mystery of Thousands of Excess Deaths this Summer? (G.)”
A: We’ll never know. Science and Medicine are completely uncurious and will never look. Wait: they don’t look, aren’t curious, but about this and only this ONE thing? How do they know which things to be curious about?
A: Because they do know. Exactly and precisely. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t know to ban it and the hash #DiedSuddenly.
“Liz Truss Energy, Tax Plan ‘Will Give Richest Families 2x as Much Support’ (G.)”

But given it’s not a money thing but supply thing, probably in this case they should provide baseline and not sliding scale. They wanted a war, and this is war footing.
“Big Banks Making a Killing off Global Hunger, Energy Crises (CD)”
Yes, but similar to the above, Banks make money on longs and shorts. So it doesn’t matter the action or direction. Up Down, Left, Right, all instruments. Since all actions result in this, why bring it up now? A: We feel like slandering them instead of solving things. If they want a fix, they need to change root incentives that don’t fit in Twitter.
“The Fed Is Going to Pivot in 3 Stages – Nomi Prins (CNBC)”
Prins has been a source of solid, if coded, information. However we’re also missing the obvious: the Fed raises until they break things. Okay, now WHAT things? Who is, the weakest link? Goodbye.
“Increasingly he has focused on tackling global warming, which he regards as one of the greatest challenges humanity has ever faced.”

The only place the ecology has been destroyed is New Jersey, Melbourne, and all the places they paved perfect farmland, which still have the highest funding and tax incentives. #Winning. Because they care so, so much they only do things that don’t work, and refuse all things that do.
September 14, 2022 at 11:30 am #115878AfewknowthetruthParticipantThe ‘net zero’ that the maniacs at the top of the power pyramid so frequently talk about is all bollocks, of course.
However, perverse as I seems, ‘net zero’ will be achieved when the bulk of the population has been murdered or has starved to death, and fossil fuels are no longer extracted and burned.
Until that point -of burning no gas, of burning no oil, of burning no coal, of manufacturing no steel, of manufacturing no concrete*,of manufacturing no glass*, of manufacturing no aluminium, of no electric cars, of no ‘windmills’, of no industrial system at all – is reached, everything the ‘powers that be’ say is simply a litany of half-truths and lies. But it is what most people want to hear.
Since making war is one of the fastest ways of squandering energy and resources, the longer that wars are fought, the worse our collective predicament is made. But no one is going to talk about that, either.
The ‘long emergency, the ‘long descent’, the reversal of the Industrial Revolution, whatever term you wish to use to describe reality, will be grim for most sentient life on this planet.
Bacteria, algae, fungi, maybe jellyfish and a few species of tube worms, ants, earthworms and spiders etc. will inherit the Earth because the maniacs persist with being maniacs.
*Theoretically, it would be possible to return to medieval methods of manufacture of concrete and glass involving the use of charcoal. But I really cannot envisage that happening.
September 14, 2022 at 11:51 am #115879AfewknowthetruthParticipantAs far as I can tell, it’s not just the ‘Chicago School’ economists who are completely nuts; it’s all mainstream economists.
Somewhere along the way, they decided that creating money out of thin air, creating digits in computer systems – processes that consume energy- were the same as creating energy.
According to the insane theories of economists (and bankers and politicians), when there is an energy crisis, the solution is to use copious amounts of energy to create more computer digits and to use yet more energy to shift those digits from one place to another.
These nutcases have a stranglehold on the levers of power, and they will not relent until they have driven everyone and everything into a ditch.
Pity the children.

https://drjohnsblog.substack.com/p/approaching-equinoxThere is a rumor that something is going to happen Saturday, September 24, 2022, something that people will remember in the same way that they remember 9/11/2001, and the assassination of John Kennedy on November 22. 1963, both of which I remember clearly.
Both of those events staged America for massive wars. JFK was going to get the US out of Vietnam after he got reelected, and he was making certain that Israel did not develop a nuclear weapon. We saw how those things went under LBJ. 9/11 was “the new Pearl Harbor” for “a new American century”.
Today the western financial empire, enforced by US/NATO, and with wealth extracted through the $US being the global trade currency, stands at a precipice, and needs to leap over a chasm. The rest of the world, led by Russia and China, wants to adopt the BRICS global trade regime, to default on $US debts. The American “petrobuck” is spent into existence by the US government, to fund the military boot on throats around the world. Saudi Arabia has traditionally sustained this relationship, started by FDR, but formalized by Nixon & Kissinger.
The global war will need to be against TROTW, the-rest-of-the-world. I foresee this being the end of this empire, but nothing this big happens quickly in history. I really wondered if the “dark Biden” TV speech, “the continued battle for the soul of the nation”, with the “Red-Sermon” look, and the US Marines standing behind “the president” was a signal that war would soon commence. The question is, therefore, who will be sacrificed on this blood-altar for “the soul of the nation”, in the interests of global slavery to our dark, shadowy overlords.Paul Craig Roberts: 9/11 After 21 Years: (Includes the infamous photo of WTC-7 still standing out the window as the newscaster declares that it had just collapsed)
It was obvious to me early that 9/11 was an inside job, a false flag event blamed on Muslims in order to justify two decades of a “war on terror” whose purpose was to destroy Israel’s Middle Eastern opponents who were funding Hezbollah, the Lebanese militia that twice drove the vaunted Israeli Army out of Israel’s attempted occupation of southern Lebanon. If Hezbollah’s supporters–Iraq, Syria and Iran–could be eliminated, Israel could seize the water resource in southern Lebanon. This, and profits and power for the US military/security complex are all the “war on terror” was about. This is a topical library of 9/11 research articles compiled in 2012, and very well organized for ease of use.

Surplus Energy Economics looks at where “economics” comes from, the last 250 years, pointing out that Marx declared himself “not a Marxist”, but separating historical market economy in 1776 (Smith, pre-industrial), 1850 (Marx, early industrial), and mid 20th century (Keynes, always intentionally misunderstood out of context). We have not worked out the post-growth market economic system yet, but it won’t work itself.
There can be no doubt at all that the global economy is in very bad shape. For some, this portends a general “collapse”. This, however, presupposes that we don’t adapt to new conditions, and that we don’t learn from past mistakes. We have a pretty solid history of doing exactly that, even if we only arrive at the right conclusions after trying all of the wrong ones first.
Of course, to adapt to new conditions, and to learn from mistakes, we need to know what these conditions and these mistakes actually are. Conventional interpretations of economics are failing us through an inability to provide the information required for this understanding.
The view set out here is that we do have a greatly enhanced understanding of how the economy works. Orthodox economics may continue to cling to precepts first laid down in the eighteenth century – essentially, that the economy can be understood in terms of money alone – but broader thought has moved on, spurred by energy shortages, by environmental concerns, and by recognition that the ‘perpetual growth’ promised by the orthodoxy simply isn’t happening…

The World Is A Hindenburg In Search Of A Spark – 10 Of The Most Explosive Issues We Face
1. This information is often shaped to distract rather than inform. The stuff and fluff presented as news by mainstream media generally omit many of the important events occurring across the world. In short, most people never hear about the protests, killings, and governments failing to protect the rights of their people. Most people never hear the things the media intentionally excludes from its coverage. Overall we, as a society, are poorly informed

September 14, 2022 at 4:24 pm #115897phoenixvoiceParticipantArendt (excerpts from Origins of Totalitarianism
Under conditions of constitutional government and freedom of opinion, totalitarian movements struggling for power can use terror to a limited extent only and share with other parties the necessity of winning adherents and of appearing plausible to a public which is not yet rigorously isolated from all other sources of information.
Wherever totalitarianism possesses absolute control, it replaces propaganda with indoctrination and uses violence not so much to frighten people (this is done only in the initial stages when political opposition still exists) as to realize constantly its ideological doctrine and its practical lies. Totalitarianism will not be satisifed to assert, in the face of contrary facts, that unemployment does not exist; it will abolish unemployment benefits as a part of its propaganda…
(She is describing gas-lighting.)
Scientificality of mass propaganda has indeed been so universally employed in modern politics that it has been interpreted as a more general sign of that obsession with science which has characterized the Western world since the rise of mathematics and physics in the sixteenth century; thus totalitarianism appears to be only the last stage in a process during which “science [has become] an idol that will magically cure the evils of existence and transform the nature of man.”
“Scientism” in politics still presupposes that human welfare is its object, a concept which is utterly alien to totalitarianism.
It is precisely because the utilitarian core of ideaologies was taken for granted that the anti-utilitarian behavior of totalitarian governments, their complete indifference to mass interest, has been such a shock. This introduced into contemporary politics an element of unheard-of unpredictability…. Thus the suspicion of the Allies that the murder of the insane which Hitler ordered at the beginning of the war should be attributed to the desire to get rid of unnecessary mouths to feed was altogether unjustified. Hitler was not forced by the war to throw all ethical considerations overboard, but regarded the mass slaughter of war as an imcomparable opportunity to start a murder program which, like all other parts of his program, was calculated in terms of millennia. Since virtually all of European history through many centuries had taught people to judge each political action by its cui bono and all political events by their particular underlying interests, they were suddenly confronted by an element of unprecedented unpredictability.
The chief disability of totalitarian propaganda is that it cannot fulfill this longing of the masses for a completely consistent, comprehensible, and predictable world wiithout seriously conflicting with common sense.
Before they seize power and establish a world according ot their doctrines, totalitarian movements conjure up a lying world of consistency which is more adequate to the needs of the human mind than reality itself; in which, through sheer imagination, uprooted masses can feel at home and are spared the never-ending shocks which real life and real experiences deal to human beings and their expectations.
The true goal of totalitarian propaganda is not persuasion but organization–the “accumulation of power without the possession of the means of violence.”
The stubbornness with which totalitarian dictators have clung to their original lies in the face of absurdity is more than superstitious gratitutde to what turned the trick, and, at least in the case of Stalin, cannot be explained by the psychology of the liar whose very success may make him his own last victim. Once these propaganda slogans are integrated into a “living organization,” they cannot be safely eliminated without wrecking the whole structure.
The fundamental reason for the superiority of totalitarian propaganda over the propaganda of other parties and movements is that its content, for the members of the movement at any rate, is no longer an objective issue about which people may have opinions, but has become as real and untouchable an element in their lives as the rules of arithmetic.
It is in the moment of defeat that the inherent weakness of totalitarian propaganda becomes visible.
Excerpts from book 3: Totalitarianism, chapter 11: The Totalitarian Movement, section I: Totalitarian Propaganda. Most of them are first sentences of paragraphs. While everyone argues whether GCD is anthropogenic or not, the debate obscures the primary fact: whatever GCD is or isn’t happening, we’re rapidly depleting the fuel we need to continue debating such (at this point) nonsensical issues.
Same, btw, with planned population/economy demolition: population/economy gonna crash either way, with or without Davosian assistance. ‘So, across the West, the reigning perception – frantically fomented by psyops experts – is that the Russian military were hit by that “hammer blow” and will hardly recover.
Kharkov was preciously timed – as General Winter is around the corner; the Ukraine issue was already suffering from public opinion fatigue; and the propaganda machine needed a boost to turbo-lubricate the multi-billion dollar weaponizing rat line.
Yet Kharkov may have forced Moscow’s hand to increase the pain dial. That came via a few well-placed Mr. Khinzals leaving the Black Sea and the Caspian to present their business cards to the largest thermal power plants in northeast and central Ukraine (most of the energy infrastructure is in the southeast).
Half of Ukraine suddenly lost power and water. Trains came to a halt. If Moscow decides to take out all major Ukraine substations at once, all it takes is a few missiles to totally smash the Ukrainian energy grid – adding a new meaning to “decommunization”: de-energization.
According to an expert analysis, “if transformers of 110-330 kV are damaged, then it will almost never be possible to put it into operation (…) And if this happens at least at 5 substations at the same time, then everything is kaput. Stone age forever.”
Russian government official Marat Bashirov was way more colorful: “Ukraine is being plunged into the 19th century. If there is no energy system, there will be no Ukrainian army. The matter of fact is that General Volt came to the war, followed by General Moroz (“frost”).
And that’s how we might be finally entering “real war” territory – as in Putin’s notorious quip that “we haven’t even started anything yet.”

That partly explains why NZ has ‘children’ in charge, and why all ‘official’ analysis is at the 12-year-old level of thinking, at best. (Often at the three-year-old level of thinking: “I want. Give me.”)

September 14, 2022 at 9:37 pm #115909AfewknowthetruthParticipantOn the theme of 12-year-old level of thinking and analysis that characterises NATOstan governments (and the bullshit churned out by the likes of the Gourdian) Brian Berletic admists he was wrong, and that the Duran was right, a week or so ago.
It is the measure if a true man or woman to admit one’s errors promptly, unlike the scumbags who govern us, and who double-down on their errors, lies, deceits etc.
New Atlas reports that more than 40% of the kit that NATOstan nations supplied recently went up in smoke in the Karkov offensive.

Global climate disruption (GCD) provides the distraction it needs to succeed. While everyone argues whether GCD is anthropogenic or not, the debate obscures the primary fact: whatever GCD is or isn’t happening, we’re rapidly depleting the fuel we need to continue debating such (at this point) nonsensical issues.Same, btw, with planned population/economy demolition: population/economy gonna crash either way, with or without Davosian assistance. But we’d rather argue whose fault it is, as if the fault for the fate of a species, and the ecosystems it is inarguably destroying, were that of any-thing/one less than all of us.

This comment seems accurate to me.I hope I am wrong but I expect implosion of the western world and associated population shedding. If this occurs all that matters is can I survive.

September 14, 2022 at 10:47 pm #115912D Benton SmithParticipantBy all means do hold Desmet’s and Malone’s feet to the fire about who’s to blame for the democidal crisis of humanity, but before jumping to conclusions about motives first read his book [ The Psychology of Totalitarianism]. I think you will discover that he ain’t lettin’ NOBODY off any hooks. He’s basically saying, IMHO, that the good guys and bad guys alike are hanging each other from the SAME hook.
It is a comforting fiction (and so we comfort ourselves by believing) that this fucked up world is other people’s fault. But the truth of that matter is that the “good guys” are just as ultimately culpable as the baddies are, if not more so. We knew better than to be outright baddies our own selves, but permitting others to be baddies (out of misguided niceness) condemns them to a hell worse than hell . . . and is thus not very nice at all.
Some problems are only resolvable by going deep, so gird up your whatchamacallits, and read the book to the end. The first two thirds address in finer detail what you’ve probably already gathered in generalized snippets from the internet about Mass Formation. But it’s the final third of the text that separates the pros from the deletants, and serves as a test (as well as an education) of the reader’s relationship to unexcused and unadorned reality.
I won’t spoil it for you by giving any more of my personal half-assed inadequate synopsis. Just read the damn book.
P.S.
Peter Breggin is a good man with a long and heroic record, but that doesn’t make him infallible, and I think he’s mistaken about Desmet.September 14, 2022 at 11:27 pm #115913Veracious PoetParticipantSpiritually dead CULTures, collectively trapped in self-centered trances, *always* end the same…

September 14, 2022 at 11:36 pm #115914AfewknowthetruthParticipantTTATT -The Turds At The Top- are weaponising the entire financial and economic system to go back in time to a feudal system. Anyone who opposes this is deemed to be a ‘terrorist’.

Some time ago I encountered the term ‘recovering from industrial civilisation’, used by people who had left the Matrix but were still suffering trauma from having lived in it.
As previously discussed, the insane culture of TTATT have instutionalised insanity, and made it the norm.
