[See the full post at: Debt Rattle March 8 2024]March 8, 2024 at 11:47 am #154256WESParticipantIt is too early for my brain to be working but I will go out on a limb and say Maria wasn’t home since her walkway to her front door isn’t cleared.
March 8, 2024 at 12:15 pm #154257WESParticipantNuland would have to be considered “a loose cannon on a ship” considering her ancestral hatred for Russia, as her ancestors came from the western Ukraine area.
Her Russian hatred probably blinded her judgment such that it scared the people around her who had to deal with her.
Reportedly she was not a very nice boss so no one liked working under/with her.
I would say her not being very nice to people, eventually her bad krama came around to bite her in the ass once cracks in her armor of being invincible became visible. There have likely been many people waiting for the chance to bring her down. They finally got their revenge.
The idea that she tried to stop the Ukrainian war is laughable.
She was the chief architect of this million plus bloodbath!Nobody will miss her.
March 8, 2024 at 12:38 pm #154258WESParticipantThe idea that boomers got to buy their houses at a cheap affordable price is utter nonsense.
They struggled like hell! The value of the house going from say $16,000 to today’s higher price shouldn’t be the message.
The main message should be how much the purchasing power of the dollar has fallen!
A $16,000 house going to $160,000 means each dollar’s purchasing power has fallen to 10 cents.
That the $16,000 house is worth $320,000 means the purchasing power of each dollar has fallen to 5 cents!
To add insult to injury, one needs to also remember that the value of that old $16 000 house has more than likely fallen, such that the purchasing power of each dollar has probably fallen to 2 or less cents!
That is what happens when the purchasing power of each dollar has fallen 98% or more!
March 8, 2024 at 12:39 pm #154259Dr. DParticipantPicasso keeps adding more lines. Is it better?
Canada outlaws Chrstianity. Or more technically, all religion:
“Bill C-367, an amendment to the Criminal Code that will prohibit Canadians from expressing “an opinion based on a belief in a religious text. If passed, people can be arrested for quoting the Bible on Canadian soil.”You can be a Scientist, or you can be an atheist. Everyone else is arrested and shot. Now if I make a written religion that says, “Trudeau is God” will I be arrested? Absolutely not. If I fund then applaud Nazis in Parliament, will I be arrested? Absolutely not. It’s only YOUR religion we don’t like. That is any religion that says “Caesar is God”, the State is God, and not “Our Creator.”
Sweden in NATO, unf warmongering at “11”.
If you didn’t know, one of the only countries to (bother to) fight Russia is Sweden. Why????? Anyway, they attacked Russia like every 30 years for centuries and even won sometimes. Apparently they are at it again. I imagine same as before, where the people don’t care/don’t want to go, but their dictatorial kings declare war and make them.
Worse, this link has pivot event in September, worldwide. So … “Biden” starts WWIII to forestall the election? It is one of the only ways to keep the Creepy, Demented Insiders from being run out on a rail, so probably. That’s the earliest window for your standard Market crash. What is Rosh Hashanah on this year? (Oct 2)
Morrissey: What is almost certainly the opposite of him, Karl Benjamin, was saying “You don’t understand: We LIKE being English. My neighbor LIKES being Muslim. I LIKE my wife being a woman and my daughter being a child.” That is, we LIKE cultures. We LIKE who we are. We like things to be what they ARE.
That’s why he’s around because that’s strangely revolutionary, strangely his finger on the essence of it. It’s early-inserted hate and self-loathing that drives the whole Woke Left. Easily seen, just ask them.
Biden, level of denial. Everyone I know can’t see/doesn’t care. Biden at this level, no effect. They now “Stopped watching”, “I Stopped paying attention. It’s depressing and all a lie anyway.” The mean kids are jaded and nihilistic these days. So cool. But you’re going to vote for…? Yeah. You got it. Whoever we’re told. That’s how we’re a Rebel, Dottie.
“Elon Musk ripped President Joe Biden’s administration for secretly flying 320,000.” Yup, nary a blip. All Congress delighted with it.
At $100/ticket (a real lowball) that’s $32,000,000 for that one revelation ALONE. Governments charge 10x minimum. Very likely flew multiples of this. No effect.
I mean, I GUESS I shouldn’t be surprised, as women will literally DIE before standing up to their abusers, even with many options including actual relatives and an open bed, but … I am. I really am. No effect. Please sir may I have another.
Dore was posting the video of NBC Morning Joe talking about how demented Trump is, he can’t climb on stage, can’t talk, can’t get him off it, should see a doctor. …Yeah, you got it. He quotes, “”The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”. ― George Orwell Yup! All day, all channels for “Programming”.
“the individual entered the diplomatic service not from the outside (for example, as a political appointee), but through specialized education and climbed the ladder of the ranks of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. …a sign not only of merit, but also of the highest professional qualifications.”
This is why I bother to make fun of goat f—king Rutgers. If THIS is your training from birth for these posts, no wonder it’s all gone wrong. More than anyone, she has internalized EVERY. SINGLE. Transparent nonsense and spurious, political talking point about Russia, and thereby being WRONG. EVERY. TIME. Since Yeltsin. …And also how she got promoted, BEING wrong, because she was the right KIND of wrong, the kind the political class like.
Intel Tony said it yesterday, CIA, and now the Pentagon like Patreus, are now all Yes Men, Politicians wearing General suits. Whatever you want to hear, they’ll fabricate the evidence for you. Hey is that the LIES I keep droning on and on and on about? Do they cause problems? This makes you the #Opposite of a General. Generals get things done. They tell the truth you don’t want to hear, by YELLING at you, chewing you out. Including Presidents, if necessary. These guys LOSE daily, BECAUSE they are lying, and say nothing but what whoever wants to hear that day.
Again, show me the incentives. They, WE, built this SYSTEM. One that rewards every lie and punishes every truth. It always did, a little, bureaucracies are notorious cowards, but this just let that bad streak run completely unrestrained. Why? We got rid of God. No internal morality at all. 320,000 times, border agents said, “I’m putting an unchecked 10 year old on a plane, probably to a rape camp. But I won’t quit over it. I need the insurance.” Same with CIA analysts. I can lie, or I can lose my job? Easy-peasy! Let the country burn. Let it burn!!!
This innate corruption and cowardice spreading downward is actually a GOOD thing, or they’d be COMPETENT at war or anything and they’re not. Evil wants to Evil, but they got no boat right now. Evil is a parasite and depends on US, our work and competency to get their evil done. Evil HATES that. Hate Us. Hate they have to cower and hide. Hates that it’s true. But it is.
“• Nuland’s Successor Should Scare Zelensky (Dmitry Bavyrin)
“Cookies”, “Cookie Monster” Nuland? Is this entirely lost on everyone, because, please mention it directly: The “Cookies” she was giving out had METH in them. You know we just had reports, Ukr soldiers, tireless, fearless, feel nothing, not hot or cold? ‘Cuz drugged to the nines and drooling, wandering around minefields? Uh…Y E A H ! ! ! That! HTF did you THINK they were down Maidan all winter, water hoses on icicles, happy, elated, addicted to it? With Drrrrrrrrrrruuuuuuuuuuuggggggggggggggggsssssssssss. An American specialty. Perhaps something new cooked up, coked up, in Ukraine’s own bioweapons labs. Jesus. Just SAY it, it’s the LEAST of the crimes or suspicions we’ve admitted.
Pharmakopiea, the Whore of Babylon that falls in an hour, and the merchants of the world all cry. Babylon NY, on the South Shore, a subway stop away.
“Crack Cookies” Nuland leaving means the Pentagon is pivoting to losing the NEXT war, in China. They thought they could just saunter out, defeat Russia with a “Whiff of grapeshot” in time, then allies erased, bring China to heel. …Which is the goal all along, since Papa Bush in 1989. MAKE China the new U.S. the colony, let them get deep in, then CURB STOMP them by controlling Food and Oil. Food here (and elsewhere) and oil with Baby Bush, Shrub, takes over Iraq, then Iran, Straits of Hormuz, and the 5 nations General Clark described in order on YouTube. All the major routes via F-Stan and Pakistan (the only one they didn’t totally lose…yet).
Anyway, back to China, which unless you control MARS, and are going to crash it into Beijing, we’re going to lose before we even show up. Unless you have the Battlestar Galactica, and are going to laser them from space, you’re not even going to get a 9mm round into China.
So I don’t know what they’re thinking, but am afraid to find out. I think perhaps we were meant to LOSE, said many times, but China was the new Flagship the pirate parasites were going to parasite remote control. Like in Stargate, or those ear-things in Star Trek. Hahahahaha: NO. China cut that off with a laugh and thinks were funny. OF COURSE. And partially because they’re more racist than the WEF and Davos are and would never allow whitey in there. So IF Sachs, Morgan, HSBC, etc were all there with an unlimited checkbook, paying $150B a pop for color revolutions trans-ing their kids, and flying 300,000 agents nationwide without a thought, YEAH, they certainly COULD destroy, control, or do great harm to China, you know loaning to both sides or something. But no. China saw that coming about the time Papa Bush got on the plane and left, 1989 and a half. Morons. The only result of all this is China got rich and we got poor.
Although we did all out the Parasite and give it no host to flee to. A requirement for its destruction, by the way.
Anyway, Cokies is replaced with the guy who botched the F-Stan withdrawl, which will be written in history books for generations to come. That’s why he was promoted! Nobody killed more soldiers, lost more equipment, sapped and destroyed the United States than he has!
Kidding? There was the most minor kerfuffle this week on banning the Iconic “Kissing Nurse” picture.
Who was the person in charge? Captain Woke herself! RimaAnn Nelson. What is she known for? Running the worst VA in America, in American history. Well…the VA always has bad reputation, what do you mean? I mean, SHE PERSONALLY KILLED 1,800 SOLDIERS. That’s more than five Chinese generals could ever dream of!!How did she personally do this?
“She was in charge of the VA hospital in St. Louis, which was rated the worst in the nation out of 126 facilities under her reign. The situation at the hospital was so dire that 1,800 troops fell ill with HIV and hepatitis from unsterilized medical and dental equipment. The establishment protects its own, and Nelson was placed in another leading role in a hospital in the Philippines without repercussions.”
Kill people = promotion. Any questions? But we ain’t a Death Cult or nothin’.
Bass, the guy from F-Stan did the same to every ally, all the equipment, the whole region is lost straight from the Gulf to China. Promoted. Whoever weakens the United States more gets promoted! Golly! That’s Odd! …UNLESS YOUR GOAL AND INCENTIVE IS TO WEAKEN THE UNITED STATES as a rival and power. …London.
Again, the claim throughout Europe is that we are weakening them to profit and STRENGTHEN ourselves. Um, I don’ see no profits here! I don’ see no strength! Do you? Maybe it’s over at your house!
“Exhibit 1 is French President Emmanuel Macon’s proposed plan to station military personnel from NATO members within Ukraine to serve as a tripwire.”
If you missed it, he already did. In Transnistria. Overlooking Odessa, the two are militarily intertwined. He is ACHING to bring France, thus all NATO, into full conflict with Russia.
As PCR says, they LITERALLY BELIEVE Russia won’t bomb the s—t out out every Frenchman that crosses the border. So Russia LITERALLY BOMBED the s—t out of them in their barracks. But since they are drooling morons eating 5-star, doing coke off the -ss of Ukrainian hookers in Élysée Palace, they can’t get The Message.
“• Ukraine Sends Fired Top General Zaluzhny To London (RT)
London. So this means that Ukraine will fall. He’s the government-in-exile? That is, the Puppet? I’d make fun of this, but it’s as old as history, to Bonnie Prince Charlie and probably back to Julius Caesar.
“German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius plans to speed up the process of reintroducing compulsory military service in his country, the Spiegel magazine has reported”
As said, Pistorius thinks he’s running the country out of NATO, and Scholz is a pimple. The German People may think otherwise.
“• Rep. Gaetz Accuses Jack Smith of Election Interference (ET)
And then the Republicans did nothing. Not picking on Gaetz here, he did his something. They have the majority, so where are their acts? They own several states. So where are their acts? Only one state stopped any human trafficking: Florida. One state released Epstein papers: Florida. Well, I guess there are no other crimes in the other 49!
“• Bill Would Strip COVID-19 Vaccine Manufacturers of Liability Protection (ET)
They Already don’t have it: it was a fraud. Fraud is never protected. They ALSO already don’t have it, since Trump had them sign a special contract that it would be “Safe and effective.” That’s how this particular one was authorized. But whatever. They have blankets of protection, and we remove them one by one.
Doesn’t matter what House Prices were, it matters what wages were. (they were still 3x more affordable). What matters is after 200 years of steady prices, suddenly prices started to rise at all. If prices are steady, wages are steady. You can’t afford because Wages always lag prices. So where did all this 10-50x “money” come from? To allow “prices” to rise at all?
They should be what they were in WWI.
I saw this in Dore’s coverage of “Rural White Rage” …which I guess they didn’t learn from how popular the “Deplorables” comment was? Now this is ON NBC, with Mika. After the usual racist, Nazi talking points, the professors say, “Yeah but they all have good reason to be” and continues with a laundry list of how they’re being screwed white and liquidated like vermin. HIs diagnosis? Why no hospitals, no insurers, no local markets, no pharmacies? “Capitlaism”, of course! “Late Stage Capitalism.” That is to say “NOT Capitalism”.
So, no pharmacies in rural, can I open one? NOPE, they are regulated. No hospitals in rural, can I open one? NOPE, they are regulated. Small businesses are shut down, how is that happening? WalMart gets 1% loans and Pa’s gets 29% loans. All from Government. Can I open a bank and compete? NOPE, they are regulated. THAT is where “The Money” comes from, for “Price increases.” Everything every one of these guys describes is the #OPPOSITE of Capitalism. Walks like a Duck, Quacks like a duck, tastes like a duck, NOPE, it’s a beaver.
Special notice to Dr. Day who is catching all the small details, etc e.g. in the German Bridge incident, where I am not, or not being clear enough about it. There’s a lot going on right now. Anyone remember Health Care? Since that’s killing everyone, doctors are 3rd leading cause of death, that used to rate. Now it’s a footnote. Part of a war…against us. Throw everything you have at us all at once. Unlike Ukraine, where they get one tank at a time.
What the with the puzzle? Everyone enters through their garage. The shoveling means nothing.

Mises’ Connor O’Keeffe, warns: “Be on the Lookout for These Lies in Biden’s State of the Union Address.”President Biden will exaggerate, mislead, and outright lie in his speech on Thursday. But we can be sure of two things. The “state of the Union” is not as strong as Biden will say it is. And his policy ambitions risk making it much worse.
Americans are finally waking up to the fact that the cost of living will not return to prepandemic levels, and they’re not happy about it.

BY TYLER DURDEN
FRIDAY, MAR 08, 2024 – 04:44 AMHaving successfully raged, ranted, lied, and yelled through the State of The Union, President Biden can go back to his crypt now.
———–
Tucker Carlson’s response sums it all up perfectly:
“that was possibly the darkest, most un-American speech given by an American president. It wasn’t a speech, it was a rant…”
Carlson continued: “The true measure of a nation’s greatness lies within its capacity to control borders, yet Bid refuses to do it.”
“In a fair election, Joe Biden cannot win”
And concluded:
“There was not a meaningful word for the entire duration about the things that actually matter to people who live here.”

March 8, 2024 at 3:52 pm #154269jb-hbParticipantI liked how Biden expressed concern for the inflation he also said was dropping, therefore he wants to give us all – or some of us? – a $400 tax credit so that we can spend more on housing. Because spending more on stuff makes the price go down. No I think grocery prices already ate that $400.
But how will I compete for housing with people who can work tax free while being subsidized for education, medical care, “unemployment,” housing, phone service, and walking-around-money amongst other things? How will I afford housing with tens of millions of more people – subsidized while I am not – competing for essentially the same amount of housing?
The endless ranting for a bill to legalize unlimited undocumented immigration as a way to fix the border was particularly grating. But we’ll hire more people – to stand there and let people through. All our current people are busy cutting down barriers. For “access” We’d stop the flow now but we don’t have any plans to do so or laws that would enable us to nor government departments or agencies for it nor funding because we spent it all on the NGO’s bringing infinite people to the border PASS THE BILL.

March 8, 2024 at 4:13 pm #154271jb-hbParticipantHe got very agitated during the Tax Corporations More part of the speech
Who the fuck cares about taxing corporations? For all I know, the increased corporate tax means they close down the US call center and open one in India.
Corporations are government entities. They are fictional constructs created in law. They aren’t people doing businesses or partnerships. Unless the corporation is personally owned rather than publicly, how do these taxes help anyone? In every corporation, the people working within it were simply working to derive whatever benefit they could from it through internal gamesmanship – just short of outright embezzlement, not in service of the consumer, the company, the employees. These people were not somehow a hive mind, a Big Meanie Entity called a Corporation.
All you do by taxing corporations more is CONCEAL your tax increase by laundering it through the corporation before it hits working class people through value deflation, cost inflation, lowered/stagnant wages/benefits.

Dennis Kucinich explains why he left RFK Jr.’s Presidential campaign (Israeli apartheid >> genocide: policy differences) and why he is running for the US House again after being re-districted out a decade ago (America for regular Americans agan.). I have set it to about 44+ minutes where he explains leaving the Kennedy campaign and deciding to run independently for Congress in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, where he was once the youngest mayor.
Importantly, Dennis, and his interviewer both explain, earlier in the interview, a sensation I feel a lot, in my throat, something is wrong, a heavy and depressed feeling, about the Genocide in Palestine and the war in Ukraine.
Have you ever felt anything like this? I am feeling it again now, like every other day.
Surplus Energy Economics, “Peak almost everything”, part two , Winners and Losers
The long-running contest between the economic orthodoxy and the energy-based alternative is ‘all over bar the shouting’ (though there will be plenty of that), and the energy argument has won.
Anyone who understands the economy as an energy system has an inside track over anyone – the majority – who still believes that economics is the study of money.
Thus understood, asset markets are partying at the end of growth. Governments, corporations and investors are planning for a future that cannot happen. The public is increasingly angry with politicians who promise what cannot possibly be delivered…
..Such meagre “growth” as is still being reported is cosmetic, being faked by the reckless injection of credit into the system.
If, in order to deliver one dollar, euro, yen or pound of growth, we have to create more than one dollar, euro, yen or pound of new credit, part of any reported growth is being faked. Using the narrow definition of formal debt, each dollar of global growth has, over the past twenty years, been accompanied by $3.20 of net new borrowing.
On a broader basis, including the credit assets of the NBFI (“shadow banking”) system for which data is incomplete, the ratio of credit expansion to growth is probably well in excess of 7:1…
..The end result must be default, and a loss of faith in the value of fiat money…
..People around the world aren’t buying the excuses. They’re getting worse off, not better off, and, increasingly, they know it.
We’re seeing this in increasingly fractious and aggressive politics. Governments are becoming steadily more authoritarian ahead of challenges that they sense, even if the causation continues to elude them…
..The first explanation is worsening inequality, an accelerating flow of wealth from the many to the few. Intentionally or not, this has been driven by policies, particularly those designed to sustain a semblance of “growth” through extreme monetary gimmickry.
The second is that the economy itself, far from continuing to expand, is in the process of inflecting from growth into contraction.
Put both of these together and the result is that a self-serving minority is cornering an increasing share of a shrinking economy…
..Hardship is worsening, and trust in the fairness of distribution is sinking. The high command displays every sign of not knowing what’s going on with the economy, or of how this is affecting the ‘ordinary’ person… [I think “they” know, myself.] …
..Having the inside track on the economy, anyone who understands the material dynamics of energy, resources and the environment has pretty good visibility on what happens next.
As material prosperity contracts, and the costs of energy-intensive necessities carry on rising, a series of sectors supplying discretionary (non-essential) products and services reach the point of inflexion. We have now, as outlined in the previous article, entered a mountain range of discretionary peaks – peak smartphone (which has already happened), peak media (which is unfolding now), peak hospitality, peak travel, peak gadget, peak property price, and many, many more. [Peak electric vehicles, I think.] …
..Many thinkers have urged the need for voluntary economic de-growth, but these counsels have never won out over consumerism. The outlook, becoming clearer by the day, is for involuntary de-growth.
We no longer need to focus our efforts very largely on persuasion. Facts and dynamics have taken over. Our primary need now is to model, quantify and project the trends towards a discretionary-led economic contraction that is already under way…
..In Fig. 2. The “growth” supposedly delivered in GDP has been widely at variance with the trend in material prosperity. Since 2000, extreme and worsening disequilibrium has emerged between the “financial” and the underlying “real” economies, reaching a point at which financial fracture has become inescapable…..For those who understand what’s really happening, having this knowledge can be positive, as we look ahead to what the corporations and governments of the future will look like.
Credit Card Debt Jumps To New All-Time High, As Card Rates Rise To New Record
https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/credit-card-debt-jumps-new-all-time-high-card-rates-rise-new-recordCharles Hugh Smith, Global Recession’s Winners and Losers
The few winners of global recession will use the decline as a means to break the chokehold of unproductive BAU [business as usual] elites.
That the global economy is slipping into recession is self-evident. What’s not yet known is the eventual depth and length of the recession. Given that the extreme policies needed to avoid recession over the past 15 years have reached extremes that are now the problem, not the solution, there won’t be any more fiscal-monetary “saves” this time around.
What’s also not yet known is how far the few winners will advance and how far the losers will fall.,,
..Those nations / alliances that weather a deep, lengthy global recession with modest losses will be much stronger post-recession than those who suffered losses that cannot be replaced that then tipped the nation into destabilization and eventual collapse..
..I have long held that in this sense, recession can be weaponized by those with superior core assets in resources, flexibility and adaptability: Weaponizing Global Depression (2/23/23).
Every nation can print money, but the trick is to be able to do so without unleashing currency debasement / hyper-inflation. There are only a few levers that can be pulled to get away with printing money out of thin air to support one’s economy in recession, and none are easy to sustain…
..You see the problem: it’s impossible to broaden one’s economic base and establish trust overnight. It takes years or even decades to establish liquid, trustworthy markets that remain trustworthy even as political winds shift.
Those nations that have broad economic bases and trustworthy financial systems are few, and their choice is simple: either squander this collateral by using the newly issued money to prop up unproductive, rentier BAU (business as usual) elites, monopolies and cartels, or use the recession to divert resources and money away from dead-weight BAU and invest it productively.
Those nations that create money to prop up rentier BAU will slide into potentially terminal stagflation as creating new money and giving it to unproductive monopolies, cartels and elites increases the supply of money available to “invest” in asset bubbles–unproductive elites outbidding each other for the pool of productive assets–without increasing the productivity of the economy. This deflates the value of the currency (what we call inflation) even as it guarantees systemic malinvestment that keeps growth of productivity stagnant.
The trick is to use the newly created money wisely, which requires limiting the greed and power of BAU elites–something few nations (if any) can manage, as the BAU elites put their own interests above the interests of the nation and its citizenry…
..The story of civilization is BAU elites will do everything in their power to maintain the status quo as it is because this configuration is the source of their wealth and power. Given the power of their self-interest, this configuration is brittle and thus prone to cracking in unpredictable ways.
To survive challenges like deep, lengthy recessions, nations must have the structural flexibility to enable competing elites to replace the BAU elites whose exploitive, unproductive grip has fatally weakened the nation’s social, political and economic orders. [“You are here”, or not. We’ll try.]
https://charleshughsmith.substack.com/p/global-recessions-winners-and-losersMarch 8, 2024 at 6:58 pm #154277John DayParticipantWas Nuland Fired for Her Role in the Ukraine Debacle?
Victoria Nuland is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced diplomats in the entire State Department, but –even so– they are throwing her under the bus during a time of extreme crisis because she failed in the biggest and most important assignment of her 35-year career. Isn’t that what they’re saying?
It is. You can be 100% certain that a combative street-fighter like Nuland would never throw in the towel unless she was explicitly ordered to leave.
And, perhaps, she might have held-on to her job if there was any sign of progress in the war, but there isn’t any sign of progress. It’s as hopeless and dire a situation as we have ever seen.
Even as we speak– the Ukrainian front lines are collapsing while the body count continues to rise. Ukraine is out-gunned, out-manned, and out-led…
..In any event, we think that Nuland’s retirement is anything but voluntary. We think that she’s being terminated by foreign policy elites who no longer believe in her blustery rhetoric and empty promises of beating Putin. By removing Nuland they are acknowledging that the proxy-war has failed and that a different strategy is needed. And while we don’t yet know what that policy-change will entail, we do know that Nuland won’t be involved in its implementation…
..Her replacement is former ambassador John Bass who oversaw the most excellent and well planned withdrawal from Afghanistan a few summers ago. It could simply be rats jumping off sinking ships. Tori was a key player in the bloody and corrupt Ukraine-Biden nexus; one hopes her sudden departure is more significant than just one big nasty murderous rat diving into the deep– may she lead the way for the rest of the neocon mischief…
..One final comment: In a February 22, 2024 interview at the prestigious Center for Strategic and International Studies, Nuland was asked the following question:
Q: “…if Congress doesn’t act (to provide additional funding for Ukraine)… is there a Plan B? Is the administration thinking about how it could get aid to Ukraine? Is there a way to get aid to Ukraine without Congress actually allocating the funding to do so?
Nuland: Max, we’re on Plan A. We’re on Plan A. And, frankly, you know, the U.S. Senate just passed this bill with 70 votes. So that tells you that the American people strongly support continuing to help Ukraine, in Ukraine’s interest but also in our own interest. So I think the question, as the House of Representatives goes out into its districts, what message are constituents giving to their members of Congress? And how are members of Congress understanding what the world looks like, and how they’re going to have to answer if they don’t support this funding? So I am an optimist on this front. I think we will get there. But I think the American people need to speak strongly to their members. Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland: The Two-Year Anniversary of Russia’s Full-Scale Invasion of Ukraine, CSIS Center for Strategic and International Studies
Did you hear what she said? There is no Plan B. Either the US prevails in its proxy-war with Russia or what? Chaos? A Russian takeover of all Ukraine? The dissolution of NATO?
This is not the type of response that powerful foreign policy elites (who attended the interview) want to hear. They know that Ukraine is not winning the war, just like they know that Ukraine’s chances of success are extremely poor unless they get more money, more troops and more firepower, all of which are now seriously in doubt. They also know that the State Department has not convened any back-channel negotiations with Russia, so there’s no possibility of a surprise settlement either. And, now Nuland is telling them that neither she nor her colleagues have formulated a back-up plan in the event the war doesn’t turn out as they had anticipated. No Plan B.John Helmer makes a statement and includes analysis from the Russian press.
NOTHING IN NULAND’S LIFE BECAME HER LIKE THE LEAVING OF IT
The reason for Nuland’s exit is either that she was forced out, principally by the Joint Chiefs of Staff before she could do more damage to US military assets in Europe; or that she decided not to be in office when the Articles of Capitulation are signed between Kiev, Lvov, and Moscow.
Nuland’s successor should scare Zelensky, By Dmitry Bavyrin
US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland is retiring from the civil service. She was responsible for relations with Russia back in the days of the first Yeltsin government, but all-Russia fame came to her after the distribution of “cookies” on the Maidan. There are serious reasons why Nuland chose retirement, even though she was destined for the Secretary of State’s chair. And the President of Ukraine has reason to be apprehensive of the candidacy of her replacement…..The fact that Blinken himself announced the departure of his likely rival for the succession seems to indicate his desire to cut off her escape route and the opportunity to change her mind…
..It is unlikely that this fall is due to failures. There are many failures in Nuland’s career, primarily because she worked in the most difficult areas. It’s much more like escaping from a sinking ship, when the ship is the Joe Biden administration…
..Although Nuland is strongly associated with the Democratic Party of Obama and Biden, she is a nonpartisan diplomat – a career professional who remains in service regardless of who is president. Nuland received her first non-bureaucratic position, but an important public role as U.S. ambassador to NATO under Republican George W. Bush. It is very possible that her husband Robert Kagan, a political theorist, and concurrently a friend and like–minded associate of the entourage of both Bushes, the elder and the younger, contributed to this.
His strong connection with the “neocons” – the most aggressive wing of the Republicans – still holds, although Kagan himself left the party on the arrival of President Trump, cursing him in every way…
..She will transfer the portfolio to John Bass, another professional diplomat with similar views, whose track record, however, should make Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky wince. Bass is not a new clinician. More like a pathologist.
He was the ambassador to Afghanistan when the Americans fled, leaving the country to the Taliban. And as ambassador to Georgia when Washington’s protégé Mikheil Saakashvili lost power. And also as ambassador to Turkey, when President Recep Erdogan, resisting an attempted military coup, conducted a large-scale purge of American agents and agents of influence.
That is to say, the person who inherits all the Ukrainian problems from Nuland is not very fortunate, but he certainly knows how to destroy the evidence and seal the premises. But this is exactly what Nuland and Biden need in Ukraine – also [Hunter] Biden Jr., whose greed and forgetfulness brought his father under impeachment, and the entire globalist elite which fanned the conflagration of war in Eastern Europe could not curb it.President Biden Delivers The “Darkest, Most Un-American Speech Given By A President”

https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/biden-orders-emergency-mission-build-port-gaza-aid-shipmentsSerbian journalist and author Dragan Vujičić interviewed Thierry Meyssan for the daily Večernje Novosti. The interview focuses on the constants between the war in Kosovo (1998), that in Ukraine (2021) and the massacre in Gaza (2023). Thanks Eleni.
Thierry Meyssan: People in developed societies do not see the same things. Some watch television which only gives them information favorable to Israel, others get information via the internet and social networks. They cannot stand the massacre they are witnessing.
Nobody knows in the West that Benjamin Netanyahu’s Jewish supremacists have a common history with the Ukrainian Banderists, the Straussians in the USA and the Muslim Brotherhood of Hamas.
Netanyahu’s idol is the Ukrainian fascist Vladimir Zeev Jabotinsky, of whom his father was the private secretary. In 1922 Jabotinsky formed an alliance with Symon Petliura and Dmytro Dontsov. When these people massacred tens of thousands of Jews, the World Zionist Organization demanded an explanation from Jabotinsky, who was one of its administrators. He refused to answer and slammed the door.
Dmytro Dontsov became Stephan Bandera’s mentor. Before World War II, these people made an alliance with the Nazis. During the War, Dontsov became an administrator of the Reinhard Heydrich Institute. He was one of the twenty or so people who oversaw the “final solution of the Jewish and Gypsy questions”.
After the War, Bandera worked with the Muslim Brotherhood at Radio Free Europe in Munich.
For his part, Jabotinsky had allied himself with Benito Mussolini. He had created a fascist militia, the Betar, under the auspices of the Duce.
At the start of the World War, Vladimir Jabotinsky and Benzion Netanyahu received the neoconservative philosopher Leo Strauss in New York.
Their followers fought the British. After the war, they blew up the British headquarters in Palestine, assassinated the British Colonial Secretary and the UN special envoy, Count Folke Bernadotte.
For their part, the Muslim Brotherhood created a Palestinian branch, Hamas, in 1987.It was probably the disciples of Leo Strauss who organized the September 11 attacks.
All these people know each other, share the same ideas and work together. They have no use for Jews and Muslims, Serbs and Croats. They have no other ambition than political power and have no regard for human lives…
..Thierry Meyssan: The International Court of Justice has aligned itself with the US State Department. It asked Israel not to commit genocide but is not forbidding “him” it to do so.
Westerners have aligned themselves with the White House. They watch Palestinians die without flinching. They withdrew their funding from UNRWA so that they could starve without being massacred.
To sow confusion, Western media attribute the October 7 operation to Hamas alone. It’s wrong. Islamic Jihad and the Marxist PFLP also participated. This was the first joint action by the different factions of the Palestinian Resistance in fifteen years.
It is difficult to understand, but Hamas is divided in two: on one side the leaders loyal to the Muslim Brotherhood and the Anglo-Saxons, on the other those who joined the Palestinian Resistance. The former fought with the Israelis against the Syrian Arab Republic, while the latter reconciled with President Basher al-Assad last year. The first are terrorists, the second Resistance fighters.
Benjamin Netanyahu knew at least a year in advance that Hamas was preparing the October 7 operation. Not only did he do nothing to prevent it, but also, during the summer, he fired his defense minister who asked too many questions. On October 6, Netanyahu allowed the men guarding the Gaza border to abandon their posts and leave to celebrate a religious holiday. Obviously, the historic current of Hamas and Benjamin Netanyahu jointly organized the attack of October 7, of which the Jewish opposition on the (kibbutzs) kibbutz was the main victim…
..Thierry Meyssan: I don’t think we will ever be able to repair our crimes. The most we can do is build, finally, a world based on Law. This was already the objective of Tsar Nicholas II and the Frenchman Léon Bourgeois (Nobel Peace Prize winner) before the First World War.
This is what President Vladimir Putin is striving for today: a world where everyone respects their own signature and is responsible for their actions before public opinion…
..Thierry Meyssan: Today’s world is cruel and dangerous. We are seeing wars in Ukraine and Gaza. But men suffer just as much in Sudan and Haiti. We will not know peace as long as we continue to lie.
https://www.voltairenet.org/article220488.htmlThe ideology of war in Ukraine and Israel by Thierry Meyssan
The wars in Ukraine and Gaza are more similar than you might think, at least if you know their histories. The Ukrainian war didn’t start with the Russian military operation, but with the massacres in the Donbass, while the Gaza war didn’t start with the Al-Aqsa deluge, but 75 years earlier with the Nakhba. In the long term, those responsible for both wars share the same ideology…
..Perhaps the first function of collective blindness is to erase our previous crimes: it was the “democracies” of the United States and members of the European Union who organized the overthrow of Ukraine’s elected president, Viktor Yanukovych, in 2014. It was Germany and France that signed the Minsk Accords to guarantee peace for Ukrainians in Donbass (2015), but never intended to implement them and, according to the confessions of Chancellor Angela Merkel and President François Hollande, used them to arm Ukraine against Russia…
..Similarly, it is the “greatest democracy in the Middle East”, Israel, which has stolen, metre by metre, by occupation and nibbling, most of the Palestinian Territories established by Security Council resolution 181 (1947).
Or maybe it’s the other way round: our collective blindness is perhaps designed to enable us to perpetrate our next crimes.

The undiagnosed malignancy at the core of our system is now out in the open view
After two years of Russia’s Special Military Operation, it is now clear that Russia is winning and that Ukraine is now well and truly broken. This is all in spite of the nuclear, all-out trade sanctions against Russia and the full support for Ukraine from her western allies, both in terms of financial, humanitarian and military aid. NATO has practically disarmed itself to provide weapons and ammunition to Ukraine…
..Edward Luce referred to a 2011 strategy session held at the National Defense University by 16 high-ranking US military officers. They concluded as follows:
“The window on America’s hegemony is closing. We are at a point right now where we still have choices. By 2021, we will no longer have choices. … The US is way too dependent on its military and should sharply reduce its ‘global footprint’ by winding up all wars, notably in Afghanistan, and by closing peacetime military bases in Germany, South Korea, the UK and elsewhere… All this is a means to an end, which is to restore America’s economic vitality. … Our #1 goal should be to restore America’s prosperity. As such, we recommend the Pentagon shrink its budget by at least 20% … most of the savings would be spent on civilian priorities such as the infrastructure, education and foreign aid. … Nobody here thinks the politics in this town are going to change overnight; all we’re saying is that we’re in trouble if they don’t. This isn’t about ideology; it is about understanding where we are as a country.” …
..Of course, the warning was ignored and no course correction was allowed. The malignancy consumed America’s prosperity to pursue self-destructive military misadventures around the world. In nature, these types of malignancies deplete and kill their own hosts. It is now becoming clear to an increasing number of people in the West that this is our societies’ trajectory and that our owner classes only know one way to tackle complex challenges: by pressing ever harder on the accelerator pedal…
..For the rest of us, we really are going to have to build back better from the ruins they leave behind. Only, we must do it in a very different way from the one they planned for us. This must be the dawn for thinking, creativity and coming together in love and faith in ourselves. I’d leave it at this, but the question often crops up: what can we do?
Learn the truth and speak it – openly and boldly. Reject fear and the lies they are lobbing our way. Refuse to entertain any idea that we have to go and fight some external enemy in order to set our world straight. It’s as Napoleon Bonaparte put it: wars happen when your government tells you who the enemy is. Revolutions happen when you figure it out for yourself.

“Tactics included keyword filtering of transactions, targeting terms like MAGA and TRUMP, as well as purchases of books, religious texts, firearms-related items, and recreational stores, like Cabela’s, Bass Pro Shop, and Dick’s Sporting Goods,” the report said.

March 8, 2024 at 7:49 pm #154283D Benton SmithParticipantIf you “pull the investigative string” on ANY bad situation, to track back who is involved and what their interests in the bad situation might be, you will almost immediately discover that the string leads back to the same usual suspects, the same oligarchs, the same agencies, the same “board of directors”, so to speak.
What we have going on here is what is called “interlocking” boards of directors. All of the directors are the same smallish bunch of guys, and they all sit on the boards of each others’ enterprises.
An extreme case (for illustrative purposes) would be an individual who is, for example, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court AND SIMULTANEOUSLY the Capo di tutti capi of the Mafia.
This structure of board interlock permeates all of Western Civilization. It is not even considered to be a bad thing, in business circles. Indeed, it is often pointed to as a desirable IDEAL to strive for.
That this same structure also leads, inexorably, to enormous conflicts between criminals and their victims is also not considered to be a bad thing (in business circles) because their BUSINESS consists of selling various types of weaponry (tangible and intangible, goods and services) to BOTH SIDES of the conflicts that the directors of the interlocked boards created in the first place so that they could control and profit from them, ruthlessly indifferent to suffering so long as there remained a profit to be made from it.
Since most people are basically good (at least they TRY, most of the time. Give ’em that much credit) the easiest way to create a conflict is to convince people that there is some Bad Thing that needs to be rooted out, and then sells the terrified recipients of this fear mongering a SOLUTION to that problem. The solution, of course, involved giving more money and more power back up through channels to that good old Interlocking Boards of Directors.
Sheer genius, in a decidedly evil sort of way, because not only does the interlocked board win either way, but they get made unimaginably rich and powerful in the process.
It is ALSO a neat way to create bad conditions for their own sake.
Do you want something that practically NO ONE else wants? Something like mass starvation, dead children or the collapse of civilization? Well, that’s how to do it. Start a fight over that previously non-existent issue (after all, practically NO even remotely sane person wants to starve or kill babies), ramp up the fight using control over almost all communications, and then sell arms to both sides of the ensuing battle.
Diabolically clever, and I DO mean diabolical.

The laughably inadequate system of so-called “Checks and Balances” enables any agency to STOP any other agency from operating, using ways and means that are virtually invisible to anyone other than a forensic specialist, and even they would have a hard time of it. Fauci, for example, CANNOT be arrested, prosecuted or convicted for ANYTHING (regardless of overwhelming evidence of guilt) because he can use his (and his close allies) bureaucratic authority to absolutely SHUT DOWN anyone who tries it.
In other words, the system did not “become corrupted”. It was corruptly designed and corruptly constructed to BE corrupt from the git go. Using power to fight power is a losers’ game because the best outcome possible is just more power, and POWER is intrinsically corrupt in it’s very essence.
Power derives from lies, and lies are the (foredoomed) attempt to deny reality. Reality consists of the truth of what actually is. Deny it at your peril.
