Thanks for the theory stuff on the liquid magnetic core of Earth with the slippery crust spinning at different rates.

Throw in electrical/magnetic features and you have a very complex little planet dynamic.

I’ve always been fascinated by the face surfaces of the three pyramids at Giza and the mystery of the Sphinx and the evidence of it being much older than thought (with multiple re-makes) and having significant water erosion damage especially at it’s base.

Back in the day I was told that the pyramids at Giza were faced with polish white marble

That would have been and awesome sight indeed! I’ve never seen a CGI animation of such a portrayal.

I was told the white marble had been pilfered and removed by succeeding generations and burnt as mortar for other building projects.

Had that actually been the case, I would have started removing the marble face from the top, not the bottom. The top slabs would have had the smooth face of the marble below it to slide down the pyramid quickly. The further down the sides the easier the task

But in this illustration the top face surfaces seem relatively intact and get far worst the further down the pyramid.

Never occurred to me that could have been water damage but that is one hell of a lot of water to erode it like that.

The pattern does look consistent with ocean wave erosion.

I suppose because the earth is actually pear shaped and not a perfect sphere that having the crust shift and re-position around a different rotational axis relative to the core with a ‘low point’ of the pear shape over Giza would easily have put the whole place easily under 500-600 feet of water.

Were not talking about pairs of tectonic plates shifting but ALL the connected tectonic plates that form the Earth Pear moving in concert relative to the underlying semi-liquid core.
