If you went to university you may have learned that corporations are persons, that they have shareholders, boards of directors and an executive suite consisting of the CEO, CFO, COO, etc. It was only yesterday (20 Nov. 2024) that I learned that corporations also had “protectors,” or at least some of them do.
Meet Jack, the Protector
I learned this from Mr. Mikhail Khodorkovsky (MK), former member of “Sembankirshchina,” the gang of seven bankers who ruled Russia during the 1990s and controlled most of its wealth (estimated at around 60% of Russia’s GDP at the time).
Mr. Khodorkovsky recently gave an interview and explained the concept of “protector,” the detail which they forgot to teach to us in school:

Q: This is in case you get killed?
MK: No, in case they kill it’s simpler. It’s for example, if they take someone from the family hostage and start blackmailing with something related to the company. Since the company cannot be jeopardized, in this case the “Protector” must notice that I act under pressure and take away my powers. And that happened when they put me in prison. So they put me in prison, the protector made the decision that from there I can make decisions [only] under pressure and he passed the package to the next person.

..Instead of policy being aimed directly at a rising foreign adversary threatening U.S. hegemony, it is being transformed into a loaded weapon locked onto America’s domestic war. It is aimed specifically at Trump – to ‘hog tie’ him in, and to divert his attention to wars that he does not want.
Logic suggests that Trump would want to keep clear of Netanyahu’s scheming for a war against Iran. But the ‘Israel Firsters’ and the Lobby (as Professor Jeffrey Sachs argues) long have had effective control over Congress and the U.S. military – more than does the President. Explains Sachs:

Around 2008 the Russian Federation used the base design of the RS-24 (Yars) intercontinental missile to develop a more flexible version with a lighter payload. The result was the easier to handle RS-26 missile. While this could and did achieve the range needed to be classified as an intercontinental missile its payload was too small to be really effective.
In early 2018 the Russian Federation decided to halt all further development of the RS-26 and invested its money into the more promising hypersonic glide vehicle Avanguard.
A few month after Russia had taken the decision to mothball the RS-24 development the U.S. withdrew from the INF-treaty. While the U.S. claimed that certain cruise missile developments in Russia were in breach of the treaty the real reason for the withdrawal was elsewhere:
