December 12, 2021 at 12:36 pm #95014Bill RoopeParticipantI’m so glad I live in Japan! Sometimes the Japanese government can be really cool. Instead of suddenly canceling the ‘vaccine’, which would create a lot of worry and panic, they will slowly but surely make it more and more difficult for the pharmaceutical companies. Doctors will just recommend no boosters or no ‘vaccinations’ for certain age groups etc. And, the adverse event reporting will be comprehensive, detailed and exact. The adverse event reporting will be an extremely potent weapon to use if the pharmaceutical companies dare complain that Japan is not fulfilling the contract requirements. Serious looking officials reading from an endless list of dangerous and deadly adverse events. None of the nonsense of not counting deaths within 2 weeks of ‘vaccination’ as ‘vaccinated’ deaths.
Japan is now labeling Covid “vaccines” to warn of dangerous and potentially deadly side effects such as myocarditis. In addition, the country is reaffirming its commitment to adverse event reporting requirements to ensure all possible side effects are documented. The country is enforcing a strict legal reporting requirement of side effects that must take place within 28 days of the injections.
In addition, the government recommends those who are considering taking the shot carefully consider both its effectiveness and side effects. No vaccination will be given without consent.
Furthermore, they stress that businesses do not force employees to receive the experimental gene therapy. Nor should employees discriminate against those who refuse the injections.Japan, a country where 99.9 percent of the adults where a mask in public can be punctilious to a fault, but this character trait will be a very useful in countering the ‘vaccines’.
On a lighter note, Stick Your Vaccine Mandate Up Your Ass is great!

If there were medical journals which were independent of funding from Big Pharma, what would their articles look like? In Japan, there is a bimonthly publication “Med Check” which is a member of The International Society of Drug Bulletins (ISDB), “a world wide network of bulletins and journals on drugs and therapeutics that are financially and intellectually independent of pharmaceutical industry. [The ISDB] was founded in 1986, with the support of the WHO Regional Office for Europe.”
The chief editor and deputy editor of Med Check are MDs, the editorial staff is composed of MDs and pharmacists, and the advisors are all MDs or pharmacists.
The current issue of Med Check (the version in English) is available here:

https://www.johndayblog.com/2021/12/proactive-not-fearful.htmlThe COVID-19 pandemic has been one of fear, manufactured by individuals who were in the nominal positions of authority as the virus began to spread across the globe last year, according to Yale epidemiologist Dr. Harvey Risch…
“Overall, I’d say that we’ve had a pandemic of fear. And fear has affected almost everybody, whereas the infection has affected relatively few,” said Risch.
“By and large, it’s been a very selected pandemic, and predictable. It was very distinguished between young versus old, healthy versus chronic disease people. So we quickly learned who was at risk for the pandemic and who wasn’t.
“However, the fear was manufactured for everybody. And that’s what’s characterized the whole pandemic is that degree of fear and people’s response to the fear.”
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/covid-19-pandemic-fear-manufactured-authorities-yale-epidemiologistActually, no death from Omicron has been reported anywhere in the world, unlike all of the “vaccines”.
The new omicron variant has the potential to fuel almost 75,000 deaths in England this winter, according to the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. Yet out of more than 700 omicron cases detected in Europe, no deaths or serious illnesses have been reported so far, the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control said.

On the second day of this video conference hosted by Biden, news emerged of the British High Court ruling in favor of the U.S. government that Julian Assange is to be extradited to the United States to face trumped-up charges of espionage which could result in a death sentence (on International Human Rights Day, no less}.
Assange is being persecuted for exposing massive U.S. war crimes, crimes against humanity, global espionage felonies and corruption. His case is a hideous warning that free speech and independent journalism are under ruthless attack by the U.S. authorities. In other words, the biggest enemy of the most basic of democratic rights is the United States government…
There is not a scintilla of substance in what the Biden administration is attempting. The meaning and purpose of the “summit for democracy” is the opposite. It is about creating tensions, conflict, undermining democracy and fomenting war…
The self-(or somebody)appointed leader of the free world warned about the “backsliding of democracy” caused by “autocrats” (meaning China and Russia). Biden called for the protection of voting rights and free speech. This while his administration is seeking to incarcerate Julian Assange for the rest of his life because he dared to exercise his inalienable right of free speech.Biden’s ‘Summit for Democracy’ Is a Vile Circus for New Cold War
”HANDY” Model: Thanks Charles. (Human elites are apex predators and productive humans are middling “predators” Apex predators can collapse an economy by depleting nature and/or middling, productive “predators”. Regular working humans have to overgrow and consume too much of nature as a means of dying back or dying off. This is something that seems to happen to human civilizations again and again; we just were not very aware that this has always happened before.)
Collapses of even advanced civilizations have occurred many times in the past five thousand years, and they were frequently followed by centuries of population and cultural decline and economic regression. Although many different causes have been offered to explain individual collapses, it is still necessary to develop a more general explanation. In this paper we attempt to build a simple mathematical model to explore the essential dynamics of interaction between population and natural resources. It allows for the two features that seem to appear across societies that have collapsed: the stretching of resources due to strain placed on the ecological carrying capacity, and the division of society into Elites (rich) and Commoners (poor).
The Human And Nature DYnamical model (HANDY) was inspired by the predator and prey model, with the human population acting as the predator and nature being the prey...

Halliburton CEO and president Jeff Miller made waves this week by predicting that the world is due for a period of oil scarcity in comments at the World Petroleum Congress in Houston, Texas.
“I think that for the first time in a long time, we will see a buyer looking for a barrel of oil, as opposed to a barrel of oil looking for a buyer,” Miller said.
Since 2014, the oil industry has generally deemphasized building new infrastructure in the face of low prices. However, that trend may now catch up with the industry, which now finds demand for oil exceeding the available supply given current infrastructure.
Some analysts have speculated that it is increasingly likely that oil prices will soon climb to $100 per barrel, a price unseen in the past seven years and which has serious potential to disrupt the economy...
This combination of infrastructural underinvestment and labor shortages is likely to result in an oil supply stretched thin to meet demand, resulting in higher prices and possible shortages.
With oil extraction occurring at a significant time lag from industry investment and the skill shortage in the labor industry showing no signs of abating, there are major reasons to believe that any scarcity in oil supplies could last long into the future.

Yes, the Israeli study shows the cutt-off for risk of COVID death is pretty marked at deficient vitamin-D level of 20 ng/mL, and essentially nobody dies with a level over 40 mg/mL. I think 60-100 ng/mL is the ideal level, myself. David Grimes MD:
I have indicated previously that by definition and before the days of physical measurement, one unit of Vitamin D was defined as the daily requirement of a 10 gram immature mouse. We can scale up from that so that the daily requirement of a 60kg human would be 6,000 units, and for a 120kg obese human 12,000 units each day. To be cautious, perhaps half of these doses would be a reasonable starting point for determining the dose that would be appropriate in achieving the blood levels of 40ng/ml, 100nmol/L. This must be the target level, as the study from Israel indicates.

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic, caused by the viral pathogen SARS-CoV-2, has taken the lives of millions of individuals around the world. Obesity is associated with adverse COVID-19 outcomes, but the underlying mechanism is unknown. In this report, we demonstrate that human adipose tissue from multiple depots is permissive to SARS-CoV-2 infection and that infection elicits an inflammatory response, including the secretion of known inflammatory mediators of severe COVID-19. We identify two cellular targets of SARS-CoV-2 infection in adipose tissue: mature adipocytes and adipose tissue macrophages. Adipose tissue macrophage infection is largely restricted to a highly inflammatory subpopulation of macrophages, present at baseline, that is further activated in response to SARS-CoV-2 infection. Preadipocytes, while not infected, adopt a proinflammatory phenotype. We further demonstrate that SARS-CoV-2 RNA is detectable in adipocytes in COVID-19 autopsy cases and is associated with an inflammatory infiltrate. Collectively, our findings indicate that adipose tissue supports SARS-CoV-2 infection and pathogenic inflammation and may explain the link between obesity and severe COVID-19.
One sentence summary Our work provides the first in vivo evidence of SARS-CoV-2 infection in human adipose tissue and describes the associated inflammation.
https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.10.24.465626v1.fullA cruder reporting for our less-couth friends… Scientists May Have Discovered Why COVID Hits Fat People Harder
As part of the study, Dr. McLaughlin, Blish and other colleagues experimented on fat obtained from bariatric surgery to see if the tissue would become infected with Covid. They found that yes, they could – but certain immune cells known as macrophages were also susceptible, and produced a ‘robust’ inflammatory response. The team also analyzed fat cells from Europeans who had died of Covid, and found the disease contained within fat near various organs.
According to Johns Hopkins professor of cardiology, Dr. David Kass, a man whose ideal weight is 170 lbs, yet who weighs 250 lbs, is carrying a substantial amount of fat in which the virus can ‘hang out’ – where it can then replicate and trigger a ‘destructive immune system response.’
”If you really are very obese, fat is the biggest single organ in your body,” said Kass, who added that Covid “can infect that tissue and actually reside there.”

December 12, 2021 at 3:33 pm #95025Doc RobinsonParticipantWill repeated Covid boosters lead to autoimmune problems? Some clues from a 2009 study:
“Systemic autoimmunity appears to be the inevitable consequence of over-stimulating the host’s immune ‘system’ by repeated immunization with antigen, to the levels that surpass system’s self-organized criticality.”
The present findings are consistent with the current consensus that CD4+ T cells normally die via activation-induced cell death (AICD) after repeated exposure to a single antigen, while naïve CD4+ T cells having a ‘cross-reactive’ TCR with lower affinity can be activated through repeated exposure to the same antigen and survive due to weak TCR signaling, ultimately acquiring autoreactivity [20]. We show here, however, that aiCD4+ T cells are induced not by cross-reaction, but by de novo TCR revision. The aiCD4+ T cells thus generated induce not only autoantibodies but also full-maturation of CD8+ T cells leading to autoimmune tissue injury akin to human SLE…
The question of how autoimmunity is triggered can therefore be deduced to the quantitative response of host against immunizing antigen, i.e., the ability of host to present and/or cross-present antigen. It then follows that the ability of certain antigens such as measles virus to cause autoimmunity may be due to their ability, in conjunction with its ability to present antigen, to overstimulate CD4+ and/or CD8+ T cells of certain hosts beyond integrity of their immune system…
Self-Organized Criticality Theory of Autoimmunity

December 12, 2021 at 4:59 pm #95028NoiretteParticipantOn: Pentagon considering COVID booster mandate for all troops.
Naively, one would think that the military / troops, mostly of strong young men, whose job it is to ‘defend’ the country, would not be subject to questionable, unproven, dodgy etc. medical procedures that might harm them and thus prevent them from performing optimally in their ordered actions.
One precedent (USA):
“The Anthrax Vaccine Immunization Program (AVIP), is the name of the policy set forth by the U.S. federal government to immunize its military and certain civilian personnel with the BioThrax anthrax vaccine. It began in earnest in 1997 by the Clinton administration”…
“Oct 28, 2004 (CIDRAP News) – The Department of Defense (DoD) has suspended its anthrax vaccination program in response to a federal court ruling that military personnel should not have to accept the shots against their will unless the president orders them to do so.”
(>> top of goog.)
There are many, many reports of bad effects of this vax, I don’t remember / know the details fully, topic on its own, others here surely know more.
Anyway the US military, all ‘contractors’ – paid to serve – are basically treated like ‘low-level’ employees, expendable after stint, say. A great example of a large group that can be forced takers, or customers, for product Y, as ordered from above.
So boost+++ Cov-vax for all troops is either a National self-defeating action or the outcome of top brass and Gvmt. authorities who deem the vax will protect the soldiers, staff. The latter is hard to believe..
Another take: National armies no longer have much importance, wars are no longer fought between countries / regions by massive ground or -in the region- troops, as the attackers are everywhere, and the targets are right there at home on the doorstep (but see above, Biothrax.)
Aka, the globalist elite against the plebs, plebs are far too numerous…

December 12, 2021 at 6:06 pm #95030John DayParticipantThe US and UK daily vaccination graphs at Doc Robinson’s link are bimodal, with a big spring uptake, little in the summer, and creeping up into fall/winter, though the US fall uptake has been very up and down, currently down. Will the US uptake keep falling?
Japanese people got lot of vaccinations in June through September, in one big symmetrical wave.
It appears to be trailing to nothing now.The vaccination acceptance in the US military seems to be a loyalty test, at least it seems like that to me.
Are the troops and officers loyal to the chain of command when they have reason, or at least the ability to know better? The anthrax vaccines for the Iraq war were not homogenous. There was some experimental “Vac-A”, which purportedly used a squalene adjuvant, which works fast to stimulate immunity, but also causes autoimmune disease, like Lupus, because a little of it naturally exists in our cell membranes.
Gary MAtsumoto had the original article in Vanity Fair Magazine, and it is mentioned in this Salon article, but I don’t find it. I read it at the time.https://www.salon.com/1999/05/13/anthrax/
This research paper confirmed it, but most of the current links Google provides “debunk” the squalene-adjuvant-caused-gulf-war-syndrome hypothesis.
Antibodies to squalene in recipients of anthrax vaccine
Abstract
We previously reported that antibodies to squalene, an experimental vaccine adjuvant, are present in persons with symptoms consistent with Gulf War Syndrome (GWS) (P. B. Asa et al., Exp. Mol. Pathol 68, 196-197, 2000). The United States Department of Defense initiated the Anthrax Vaccine Immunization Program (AVIP) in 1997 to immunize 2.4 million military personnel. Because adverse reactions in vaccinated personnel were similar to symptoms of GWS, we tested AVIP participants for anti-squalene antibodies (ASA). In a pilot study, 6 of 6 vaccine recipients with GWS-like symptoms were positive for ASA. In a larger blinded study, only 32% (8/25) of AVIP personnel compared to 15.7% (3/19) of controls were positive (P > 0.05). Further analysis revealed that ASA were associated with specific lots of vaccine. The incidence of ASA in personnel in the blinded study receiving these lots was 47% (8/17) compared to an incidence of 0% (0/8; P < 0.025) of the AVIP participants receiving other lots of vaccine. Analysis of additional personnel revealed that in all but one case (19/20; 95%), ASA were restricted to personnel immunized with lots of vaccine known to contain squalene. Except for one symptomatic individual, positive clinical findings in 17 ASA-negative personnel were restricted to 4 individuals receiving vaccine from lots containing squalene. ASA were not present prior to vaccination in preimmunization sera available from 4 AVIP personnel. Three of these individuals became ASA positive after vaccination. These results suggest that the production of ASA in GWS patients is linked to the presence of squalene in certain lots of anthrax vaccine.

December 12, 2021 at 9:41 pm #95037Susmarie108ParticipantMore on the CHS book titled: Global Crisis, National Renewal: A (Revolutionary) Grand Strategy for the United States.
“As explained in the first paper, inequality generates collapse and so does a decline in resources, i.e. scarcity. Put the two together and the only possible outcome is collapse of all centralized nation-states that optimize inequality and endless expansion of consumption.
The issue isn’t ideological labels or principles, it’s whether the state solves problems or covers them up with fake fixes that accelerate collapse.
Nations which want to not just survive but emerge stronger have one path: a revolutionary transformation from “waste is growth” to de-growth, from an economy and state dominated by a parasitic elite to a strictly limited parasitic elite and from abject dependence on fragile supply chains originating in other nations to decentralized, localized independence for essentials.
I’ve written a book that is a template for this transformation. This book is the culmination of a lifetime of study, observation, experience and analysis: Global Crisis, National Renewal: A (Revolutionary) Grand Strategy for the United States.
Though I devote some analysis specifically to the U.S., the book is a template for any nation to not just survive scarcity but emerge stronger by evolving a de-growth economy and a decentralized political order.
We have an extraordinary opportunity to transform our unsustainable “waste is growth” economy and toxic inequality to sustainable systems that optimize well-being rather than collapse.”

There are those who feel they are letting someone pull their strings so they can eventually pull strings.
There are those who live their lives as if no one is pulling their strings whether or not someone is trying to.
Which would I be?
My endless wondering whether or not someone is pulling my strings is the goal of the controllers: all I do is try to figure out how he is/they are messing me up.
I’m not living my life; I’m reacting to his/their control.
This is seductively resonant because both of us want the same thing: control of my life.
They want power- it’s social overreach. They want to touch my life in inappropriate places. It isn’t very complicated. Where I think I might fit in the great big world is highly overrated.
Live local.

Success!Today, December 12, about 2,000 of Toronto’s youngest community health superheroes received their COVID-19 vaccine at Scotiabank Arena as part of Toronto Kids Vaccine Day! Yes, …
Toronto Public Health and The Hospital for Sick Children’s best vaccinators made Toronto Kids Vaccine Day a success. These doctors and nurses turned out to be absolute experts in speaking with children and caregivers about vaccines as well as provided child-friendly experiences for vaccination. Seriously, … our national media – CBC – proclaimed so!

Hence, anyone attending a San Jose Sharks hockey game will now enjoy the solace of knowing every toddler present has been either inoculated or negatively tested.
Effective Thursday, December 9, 2021, all guests ages 3-11 who visit SAP Center at San Jose must be fully vaccinated or show proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event. … These requirements will remain in place until state and local health and safety guidance is revised.

I don’t know where deflationista was originally from (maybe the US?), but I had an intuitive thought/feeling that he/she/it is from some third world tragedy, perhaps former eastern bloc…
The grammar doesn’t seem indigenous to western civ, the over use of name calling + derogatory words seems like a desperate person reaching for dramatic effect in lieu of their ability to properly support the narrative they espouse.
At first I thought we had a mental on our hands, but my perception is now that of a low grade “professional” troll…
Seen them before, mostly on ZH where they’re laughed off and/or banned eventually, really hope this one goes away soon 😉

My blood line will inherit all that there is.!!!!
Unfortunately, there might not be enough to put me in a pauper grave.
My blood lines are all vaccinated.
My blood lines are all educated snob that believe that I’m wrong, miss guided, ignorant, dumb, and being conned.
Old age is going to be the end of me.
The vaccine is going to be the end of them.
Be merciful. Kill the bloodline by vaccinating the grandkids.
The surviving unvaccinated will inherit the world.December 13, 2021 at 4:58 pm #95106NoiretteParticipantJohn Day, thx for the details re anthrax vax.
Susmarie posted,
De-growth. How will we do it? Can we do it? Will it work? Will we have time? Who knows! Seems to me that the important thing is to get started.
De-growth (imho) will occur in the shape of forced adaptions. There will be privations, chaos, starvation, etc. etc. Today’s so-called supply chain disruptions are partly (largely?) due to production difficulties…raw materials and energy.
A tale from Switz.
Some ppl in CH have a “zero-growth” agenda – orginal greens, or left-wing greens. 1. CH has two green political parties, one on the left, and one center-right, which shows the green label isn’t worth much, or is a pretty fig-leaf..
Nobody envisages deliberate de-growth, and CH is, amongst W countries (as huge users of natural ressources..) at the ‘more responsible’ end though one can question and ridicule the actions and measures used and state it all amounts to posturing, feel-good moves, etc. (E.g. recyling household “everything”..a complete waste of energy..)
In 2008 Hannibal Kadafi (son of) and his wife were arrested in a Palace Hotel in Geneva, on the charge of beating and torturing two of their servants. Hannibal was thrown into prison (holding prison, very bad) and his wife, 9 months pregnant, was locked up in the cellular section of the Public Hospital.
This created a frantic diplomatic storm as Kadafi Senior went batshit.
He stated no more natural gas would be delivered to CH, and that CH should be wiped off the map, and divided up (to Italy, Germany, etc.) Now CH uses very little natgas (compare with Italy for ex. which is hugely dependent on Lybia, Algeria, and wood pellets..other story..) but still, this provoked a public discussion about what do we do if imports are cut…?
It emerged that one part of the plan (CH has 20 year-plans, and Emergency Plans – I have participated in one 20 year thingie, not energy) is ‘doubling up.’
In CH, 50% of energy (or thereabouts), all forms, is used in and for buildings, and that is without counting commercial, productive, or leisure activities (factories, gyms, watching TV..) within them. Just, building them, maintaining them, repairing, cleaning, heating and cooling them, providing hot and cold water, entry access.
So, all residential and much ‘commercial’ RE would be ‘doubled’ up, forced to occupy 1/2 of previous space. Ppl would have to double up in flats, and some quarters / sections / territories would be abandoned, left to rot. As the ‘rot’ places would have to be grouped, and the ‘lived in’ places as well (to rationalise transport, amongst other considerations) it would create a territorial patchwork; ppl would have to move, or be forcibly moved. Many businesses would have to close.
That would be the first step, to reduce energy use by X%. Though this was never discussed, food rationing would be needed (breakdown of transport amongst others..)
Note: in 2020, the “emergency plans” in case of a pandemic were announced but never implemented, which kind of puts paid to any … plans … at all.
Story –> The employees are OK. Diplo storms and appeasement (by Saif al Islam, another son, influential) and public excuses from CH for ‘illegal arrests’ etc. helped… wiki, rather bland, gives some of the highlights…
