c’est oui! L’awful drones, ami!
It’s comforting to know they’re lawful drones. Thanks, Kirby.
Sorry about the fake French.

The best time to help family and friends is when they stumble or fall.
Waiting to maybe help later is pointless and helps no one.My Father, no socialist, belived in helping people when they needed it, when he was still alive.
Leaving them money in your will, after you are dead and long gone, ensured they wouldn’t be helped when they really needed it.
Also you would have no control of the outcome either.
Did you actually help?If you help a person when they really needed it, it allows you to control where your money goes, and to ensure it goes to where it is really needed, and does not get diverted by self serving third party do-gooders.
You get to actually help.I have pretty much adopted the same outlook.
And yes, I have had to bail out some in-laws!
When I spend money this way, I fully understand I won’t get it back.
I have simply spent it!
It is gone!
If I get it back great!
But I never ever reminded anyone that they owe me money.I know my Wife has had a very hard time accepting this.
But I tell her, yeah, I could stew over this spent money for years and make myself miserable but I long ago decided to simply put and lock all of these self harming thoughts into a suitcase and then leave the suitcase at the curb, never to be seen again!December 17, 2024 at 9:35 pm #177189my parents said knowParticipantI’m a bit silly, as I am getting very little sleep- waiting for the holiday phone call that tells me my BIL has died of his turbo-pancreatic cancer. Just over two months from “optimistic” to drainage.

Is it the suave, debonair, charisma? No uncivilized ape, baboon or rooster is he, Pe-Pe.
Pepe says: “ASSAD DID NOT RUN AWAY”
Oh okay. I never thought he did but surely thought The Innocents who posted that nonsense would have faulted Assad even if he ran away from a murderous mob prepared to administer The Hillary Rodham Clinton’s special or bayonet up the ass. So civilized when you’re dealing monsters, madmen, Hannibal Lecters and other mass serial killers.
-
Finally, key details are now firmly established. Assad did leave Damascus in the first hours of Sunday, December 8 in a Syrian Il-76, en route to Hmeimim.
Is the charisma more convincing after one “tied one on”, any number of logical fallacies from the geopolitical analyst be damned??
Or is that the best course to await Pepe Escobar’s imprimatur?
December 17, 2024 at 10:55 pm #177195WESParticipantSyria:
One thing we know for a fact.
Iran stopped supplying free oil to Syria in 2023.
No country can survive very long without oil.
So, both Iran and Russia knew what was likely to happen.
Just not when and how fast.
Both knew stubborn Assad was the main problem.
They both cut their losses.Syria is a mess, created long time ago.
December 17, 2024 at 11:07 pm #177196Dr D RichParticipantIt’s time Vlad Putin took Colonel Jessup’s advice, you know, “grab a weapon and stand a post.”
However, Putin’s course seems to be devolution.
Vlad seems to have devolved from ineffectual right past effeminate to Zelensky’s downbitch sub or whomever handles Putin from The Society of Very Very Rich Yet Powerless The Innocents.
What’s he gonna do, shoot off a couple more Gamechanger Hypersonics or redraw another line in the sand?

One of Vladimir Putin’s top army generals in charge of nuclear and biological forces has been killed in an explosion after a bomb hidden in an electric scooter was detonated outside his apartment in Moscow.
Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov died in the blast moments after he emerged from his apartment block with his assistant, who was also killed.
He is believed to be the most senior military officer to be assassinated since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022
Read it:
Ha ha!
You know better tdk.“Evolution as a species” is far as from Dr D’s exhortation to victims and observers as one can go.
What sort of person thinks that question is a rational next step in a discussion, you know, projecting the onus on the other?
Start and end with putting that unctuous question to The Authors of Mayhem and Their Fellow Innocents. That particular statement by Jessup IS the only enlightened aspect of his diatribe to the preening shit played aptly by Tom Cruise. In that narrow moment, The Colonel demands the very thing that D thinks he’s advocating….grab a weapon, stand as the sentinel and guard your country, home, and people.
Sure, the rest is malignant monomaniacal horseshit, but no worthy opponent will be intimidated into second thoughts or inaction by “you Lt Weinberg”, Tulsi, Ritter, Tim Walz, Pete Hegseth, Trump, Lisa Franchetti, Michelle Howard, Musk, 42teeth Ramaswamy, Nancy Pelosi.Have you stood the post?
Have you on that post encountered the criminal or the enemy within, that person running counter to the Constitution and the narrow responsibility of your post?
Did you contemplate those considerations beforehand?
Did you have plan, course of action other than prayer and kumbaya?
Have you been threatened by an armed guard on a post who just discharged his weapon while abandoning his post to take a shit?D, knows his hero Dwight Ike Eisenhower ordered the murder of Pvt Eddie Slovik for far less, you know, being afraid.
And once again, Putin has been forced to define himself. The world is at war. China, Iran, BRICS look particularly useless in the moment.

Fenethylline, the Stimulant of Choice for CombatantsFenethylline (trade name Captagon) has played a role in the Syrian civil war.
The production and sale of fenethylline generates large revenues which are likely used to fund the purchase of weapons, and fenethylline is used as a stimulant by combatants.
Fenethylline: trade name Captagon, pills are placed inside an apple-shaped container, on the outskirts of Damascus, Syria
WWII Stimulant Drug UseOne of the earliest uses of amphetamine and methamphetamine was during World War II when they were used by both Axis and Allied forces
Japan and Germany’s choice: Methamphetamine
(“Panzerschokolade”, “Pervitin” during WWII by Nazi Germany)
Kiel and D-IX were two drugs developed by the Germans in the closing years of WWII
They contained each tablet: 5 mg of oxycodone, 5 mg of cocaine, and 3 mg of methamphetamine.
Allied Forces: Benzedrine aka Bennies also a methamphetamine
I remember a lot of girls in High School stealing some of their mother’s prescription of “Black Beauties” to lose weight and get a super caffeinated like energy levels.
Thing about Speed is that it ‘borrows” energy from your Future and brings it back into the Present.
You get to ‘tomorrow’ and there’s no there there, and you crash
Kinda like the financial system in Ponzi Duh’merica.

An once of gold @$2651 USD, now costs $3794 in Canadian dollars!
December 18, 2024 at 9:59 am #177211Dr. DParticipantWow, that really illustrate what .69 cents really means. I could almost afford a 500 sq ft Cabin in Canada now.
December 18, 2024 at 10:05 am #177212Dr. DParticipantSpeaking of, what’s up with Prince Edward? Didn’t that chart say they had a 1 year wait for medical services?
