Let’s re-phrase the problem: There are TOO MANY PROMISES. And they need to DEFAULT on those promises. Obviously they’re rich insiders and you’re a poor outsider, so they are going to try to have THEIR promises kept and YOUR promises failed, by any of a thousand means they can think of, especially the illegal ones. Let’s give PCR some credit. He took a position early on and has stood by it. By not standing up to NATO, Russia is encouraging the warmongers. Some will claim he’s wrong, however Syria has made it clear that the jury is still out. Plus every attack in Russia which is not responded to – which means retaliating against NATO, outside Ukraine – is more evidence PCR may be right.
How the Ukrainian war ends will determine who is right and wrong. Does Putin cut a deal and sell out? None of us know until the time comes. So PCR is perfectly entitled to stick to his theory.
The 5D chess argument to avoid global nuclear war is wearing thin with me. If Russia(and Iran) are acting based on the fear the Western Loons with start a nuclear war then they’ve already lost. Really, if the Americans were going to launch a nuclear first strike then they would have already done it. What’s stopping them? Maybe the same common sense that’s stopped everyone in the past.
