We can beat up on “the foolish stupid sheeple” all we want until our knuckles are bloody, and we’ll still face the same dilemma. Just cuz you may want a shotgun to deal with them is no reason to hate them for being what they obviously can’t help being. What, do we have a Final Solution for dealing with all these greedy ignorant deluded sheeple? Shall we round them up into Reeducation Camps? Shall we make of them a genocidal soap by which to cleanse society of its untermensch? And if so, how shall we herd these sheeple to their apparently justly deserved quarantine or enslavement or euthanasia when they are so many and we are so few? How would we bell that

Oh yes, let’s blame everyone else. While we’re at it, let’s all go outside and howl at the weather. Maybe, like Xerxes, we can have the sea flogged as punishment for rising and ruining our plans.
We can’t fix our fellow beings; we can scarcely hold ourselves together. Either way, it seems plain that we are our business and they are not.

“ Climate change needs to be re-branded as Resource Depletion”
Good point. We also need to include the concept that we are not being responsible with our waste. In general, all living systems (to be viable) have to use the output of one organism (or sub-system) as the input for another organism (or sub-system.). If humans are going to be plentiful on the planet and deliberate in how we USE resources, we need to use the same deliberation in how we deal with our WASTE. We can’t expect “mommy earth” to clean up all of our messes for us.December 22, 2021 at 5:18 pm #95976OroborosParticipantNews Flash

I know people who were NOT allergic to bee stings for their entire life who one day got sting for the um-teenth time and almost died. They had late in life developed a severve reaction to something that had never bothered them before.
Remember, the spike protein was intentionally created in the bio-weapons lab to damage. How far that damage will go? We will see.

“If You Could Die Of Irony, She Would Be Dead”: Musk Slams Liz Warren And Woke Culture In Epic Babylon Bee Interview
by Tyler DurdenElon Musk just sat down with the guys from the Babylon Bee for a 54-minute interview, where the Tesla and SpaceX founder savaged Sen. Liz Warren, and described woke culture as a “mind virus.”
“You were pretty mean to Senator Warren there on Twitter recently,” said Babylon Bee EIC Kyle Mann. “Ya slammed her man.”
“Please don’t call the manager on me, Senator Karen,” he continued – citing Musk’s December 14th response to Warren slamming him for not paying ‘enough’ taxes.
To which Musk replied: “She struck first, obviously. She called me a freeloader and a grifter who doesn’t pay taxes, basically. And – I’m literally paying the most tax that any individual in history has ever paid, this year, ever. And she doesn’t pay tax… basically at all. And her salary is paid for by the taxpayer, like me.”
[hahahaha]
“Could you even use the term irony, would that work?” asked one of the Bee guys.
“If you could die of irony, she would be dead.”
Musk also opined on woke culture – calling it a “mind virus,” and “arguably one of the biggest threats to modern civilization.”
“Wokeness wants to make comedy illegal,” Musk continued, adding “Do we want a humorless society that is simply rife with condemnation, and hate? At its heart, Wokeness is divisive, exclusionary and hateful. It basically gives mean people a shield to be cruel, armored in false virtue.”
When asked why Musk wasn’t appearing on, say, CNN, he replied:
“I’m not perverted enough?” perhaps referencing their recent CNN pedo outbreak……”

FDA authorizes Pfizer pill to treat Covid-19 in patients as young as 12By Matthew Herper Dec. 22, 2021
The authorization of an oral antiviral to beat back Covid has been eagerly anticipated because such a medicine could reach large numbers of people infected with the virus and prevent them from becoming seriously ill or hospitalized.
The FDA emphasized that Paxlovid is not authorized to be given to prevent infection or right after an exposure, nor is it for those who already require hospitalization. It is also, the agency said, not a substitute for vaccination or a booster shot.
“This breakthrough therapy, which has been shown to significantly reduce hospitalizations and deaths and can be taken at home, will change the way we treat Covid-19, and hopefully help reduce some of the significant pressures facing our health care and hospital systems,” Bourla said in a statement Wednesday.
Patients take two Paxlovid pills and one ritonavir pill twice a day for five days, for a total of 30 pills in a treatment course.

Walter Reed’s Spike Ferritin Nanoparticle COVID-19 vaccine, or SpFN, completed animal trials earlier this year with positive results. Phase 1 of human trials, which tested the vaccine against Omicron and the other variants, wrapped up this month, again with positive results that are undergoing final review, Dr. Kayvon Modjarrad, director of Walter Reed’s infectious diseases branch, said in an exclusive interview with Defense One. The new vaccine will still need to undergo phase 2 and phase 3 trials.://www.army.mil/article/252890/series_of_preclinical_studies_supports_the_armys_pan_coronavirus_vaccine_development_strategy

Just acouple of follow-up comments.
1. My daughter had her 2nd Pfizer shot late on December 14th. On December 16th I came down with my “cold” which felt more like an allergy reaction (like maybe I forgot to take my daily allergy pill) which I initially thought might be due to it being a rather windy day, so I took a second allergy pill that evening which helped some. I didn’t experience the normal sore throat first nor that first horrible 24 hour period when you know a cold is coming.
I did wonder if I might be reacting to my daughter’s Pfizer shot. I still am wondering.
2. My wife had for 10 plus years, been suffering from receding gums. She had even had skin grafts to no avail. Then this summer a molar supporting one end of a bridge got infected and required a root canal. The bridge had to be removed to get at the molar. A lot of infected crap was found under the bridge. This low grade infection was what was causing her gums to recede! No one had ever told her that the area under her 2 bridges had to be kept clean!
The bridges are now all gone and the two gaps are being left open. Now no more receding gums!

It appears like Biden’s AG has successfully engineered a two step political solution to the legality of the vaccine mandate. (Previous efforts to avoid Scotus involvement failed.)
The first political step was to consolidate all the legal challenges to the mandate, into the 6th circuit Court of appeals. As expected, the 6th circuit Court quickly reaffirmed the vaccine mandate by overturning the 5th Court’s stays.
The true political beauty of using the 6th circuit courts is that it falls under Scotus’s judge Kavanaugh.
Judge Kavanaught was confirmed to Scotus mainly because he can be blackmailed into doing the right thing.Scotus will quickly reaffirm the legality of the vaccine mandate.
I hope I am wrong, but history says otherwise.

If you are having persistent, unresolved health issues and have teeth with root canals seek out a periodontist, preferably one that understands that it is a bad idea to use mercury amalgams, and get a high resolution image of the tooth and jaw bone. They have phenomenal imaging equipment now. It might cost $200 – $300, but worth it.

A total of 50,479,372 COVID-19 cases have been reported in the United States as of December 15, 2021.In the United States, CDC uses genomic surveillance to track variants of SARS-CoV-2. CDC’s national genomic surveillance can detect a variant that is circulating at 0.1% frequency with 99% statistical confidence. There is a two- to three-week lag between sample collection for SARS-CoV-2 testing to producing and analyzing sequence data, so it is likely that more U.S. infections with Omicron from late November will be detected over the coming days. To provide more timely estimates of variant proportions while more recent specimens are being processed, CDC also provides “Nowcast” data. Nowcast is a model that estimates more recent proportions of circulating variants and enables timely public health action. CDC’s genomic surveillance system will continuously monitor the proportion of infections from Omicron and other variants.

Based on some articles quoted in earlier comments about Paxlovid and Molnupiravir:
Pfizer’s oral treatment Paxlovid combines a very expensive antiviral with a cheap antiviral (Ritonavir). Who knows how much of the benefit is due to the cheap antiviral? (The trials weren’t designed to show this.)
Regarding Merck’s oral treatment Molnupiravir, “the full data show molnupiravir reduced the risk of hospitalization or death for patients with mild or moderate COVID-19 by about 30%.” Almost half of the expert advisors to the FDA voted against the EUA for Molnupiriavir (for high-risk patients), due to the questionable efficacy and safety concerns. (AFAIK, the FDA did not yet grant an EUA to Molnupiravir, but it has already been authorized in the UK.)
More details from my earlier comment about Paxlovid, from November 22:
“Pfizer is conducting a new study with 2634 participants into the efficacy of its PF-07321332 protease inhibitor drug in multi drug combination with HIV drug Ritonavir, against recent Covid-19 infection in the unvaccinated.”
Pfizer’s drug is a very expensive antiviral. Ritonavir is a cheap antiviral.
“Pfizer’s COVID-19 Oral Antiviral Cost $529 per Course… If authorized or approved, PAXLOVID will be administered at a dose of 300mg (two 150mg tablets) of PF-07321332 with one 100mg tablet of ritonavir, given twice daily for five days.”
Pfizer’s drug will be given with the existing antiviral drug Ritonavir which is currently available as a generic at a cost of $3 or less per 100 mg tablet. Pfizer’s clinical trials are comparing the combination of two antivirals (PF-07321332 plus Ritonavir) to a placebo. I think they should be comparing the combination of two antivirals to Ritonavir by itself. Otherwise, how can they know whether PF-07321332 adds a significant benefit above what the existing (and cheap) antiviral Ritonavir would provide by itself?
A Study of PF-07321332/Ritonavir in Nonhospitalized High Risk Adult Participants With COVID-19
More details from my Dec 1 comment about Molnupiravir:
Molnupiravir EUA for high risk adults? Almost half of the experts voted “No” because of questionable efficacy and safety concerns.FDA Panel Narrowly Backs Merck’s COVID Pill
— Questions about efficacy, safety were chief among concerns, regardless of how members votedA divided FDA advisory panel voted 13-10 to recommend the oral antiviral molnupiravir for emergency use authorization (EUA) for adults at high risk of progressing to severe COVID-19 on Tuesday.
While votes at the Antimicrobial Drugs Advisory Committee (AMDAC) were largely split, similar questions were raised on both sides of the vote about modest efficacy, especially in light of other available treatments…
Of particular concern to the “no” voters was not only that efficacy against hospitalization and death declined from the interim analysis submitted to the FDA (48% relative risk reduction) to the final analysis (30% reduction), but that when examining only the data from the post-interim analysis enrollment, there were fewer placebo patients who were hospitalized or died by day 29 versus patients receiving the intervention (4.7% vs 6.2%, respectively)…
For other committee members, potential mutagenicity was an issue, which the committee also discussed, but did not vote on… James Hildreth, MD, PhD, of Meharry Medical College in Nashville, was unequivocal: “It’s an easy vote for me to vote no. Genotoxicity and mutagenicity data raise more questions than answers,” he said…
The FDA does not have to follow the advice of its advisory committees, but it often does.
https://www.medpagetoday.com/infectiousdisease/covid19/95944
From Nov 28:
It turns out that the mutagenic drug Molnupiravir isn’t so effective against Covid.
From Trial Site News:
Merck and Ridgeback Report Full Phase 3 Analysis for Oral Antiviral COVID Pill; Efficacy Plunges from Interim Analysis
The full data show molnupiravir reduced the risk of hospitalization or death for patients with mild or moderate COVID-19 by about 30%, based on a study of more than 1,400 adults. Last month, an interim analysis showed about 50% efficacy, based on data from 775 patients.
So the benefits are less than touted in Merck’s press release, but what about the risks?
Below is a related article in Forbes, by William A. Haseltine (“For nearly two decades, I was a professor at Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public Health where I founded two academic research departments, the Division of Biochemical Pharmacology and the Division of Human Retrovirology.
