In the shooter picture the person looks like a female. Look at the dished nose of the smiler vs the thick, bumpy broken boxer’s nose of the grim guy.
Not the same person.December 5, 2024 at 11:42 pm #176128OroborosParticipantTrump Announces Plan To Annex Canada And Rename It ‘Gay North Dakota’
Following a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at Mar-a-Lago, Trump worked with his inner circle to devise the plan to have the U.S. absorb Canada as the 51st state of the union while changing its name to something that better describes its people and culture.
“It’ll be a wonderful addition to our country, Gay North Dakota,” Trump told reporters when revealing the plan.
“It’s large. Very large.
A lot of trees and moose there, they tell me. We knew we would need to give it another name so everyone would know it’s part of the United States.
We thought about ‘Gay California,’ but Canada is too cold and California is already Gay California.
So we picked ‘Gay North Dakota.’ It’s just like North Dakota, only much larger and very, very gay. We’re going to love our new state, aren’t we, folks?”

The affected firearms all have semi-automatic action with sustained rapid-fire capability,
https://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/canada-expands-list-of-banned-firearms-to-include-hundreds-of-new-models-and-variants-1.7135321The Canadian government is expanding its list of banned firearms, adding hundreds of additional makes, models and their variants, effective immediately.
Lawful owners of these newly prohibited firearms will be granted amnesty from criminal liability, with strict conditions, while they take the steps required to comply, ahead of disposing of their firearms through the still-yet-to-be-implemented buyback program.
Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc made the announcement alongside Public Services and Procurement Minister Jean-Yves Duclos and Defence Minister Bill Blair, in Ottawa on Thursday.
Today’s announcement specifically revises the classification of “104 families of assault-style firearms, encompassing 324 unique makes and models and their variants,” according to government officials that briefed reporters.
The affected firearms all have semi-automatic action with sustained rapid-fire capability, according to the government, and will have to be disposed of within the amnesty period, which expires on October 30, 2025.
The federal Liberals also intend to move forward with additional regulatory and legislative measures in the days and months ahead.
This will include tabling regulations on Dec. 13 to strengthen Canada’s gun classification regime. And, building on the controversial Bill C-21 that passed Parliament in December 2023, the government’s promising to table “additional measures” to address the rates of gun violence in situations of gender-based and intimate partner violence, in January 2025.

Amnesty International investigation
concludes Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza

https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/amnesty-international-accuses-israel-of-genocide-in-gaza/Israel has adamantly rejected genocide allegations against it as an antisemitic “blood libel.”
It is challenging such allegations at the International Court of Justice, and it has rejected the International Criminal Court’s accusations that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defense minister committed war crimes in Gaza.“The deplorable and fanatical organization Amnesty International has once again produced a fabricated report that is entirely false and based on lies,”
Israel’s Foreign Ministry says in a statement.
It accuses Hamas, which has vowed to annihilate Israel, of carrying out a genocidal massacre in the attack that triggered the war, and said it is defending itself in accordance with international law.“There is absolutely no doubt that Israel has military objectives.
But the existence of military objectives does not negate the possibility of a genocidal intent,” Callamard says at a press conference in The Hague.
———–December 6, 2024 at 9:31 am #176138Dr. DParticipantUnited Healthcare. Yes, we need more of this. Like, “Journalism”. Love his ad libs though: “Trump will erase all anti-trust” Why? What makes you say that? “For Profit healthcare is fundamentally” …corrupt, unable to function. Huh, that’s odd: we had largely FOR Profit health care for the 200 years before it stopped working. In 1992, the day the government REALLY started getting in there and “Helping”. And I’m glad Canada and UK never Delay and Deny or nothin’.
I wonder if he’s aware that’s not journalism (it isn’t supported with facts and citations) but advocacy. Probably as it’s “Occupy Democrats”. But that’s okay, it’s a good, and barely intro article on the cesspools that are ALL of them, the bad ones have been dragging down the few formerly good ones, and we’ve had partisan newspapers for most of that 200 years too, and it worked okay. As long as the word gets out.
I guess if he’s for nationalized healthcare and M4A, then he voted against Biden and AOC who double-crossed and -ss f—d him right in the open, 4 years in a row, by not even HOLDING a vote? Ask Jimmy, he’d know.
December 6, 2024 at 9:57 am #176144Dr D RichParticipantThe problem with ForProfitHealthCare IS The Government becoz 200 years.
Alrighty then.
Holy ChristDecember 6, 2024 at 10:06 am #176145Dr. DParticipant1) Were we not for profit in the past.
2) Did that system work?
2a) Were there fluctuations, exceptions and contradictions, feel free to engage.
3) When did that system stop working?
3a) Fast or slow, over the health horizon.
4) Is our system for profit now?
4a) Does our system have free competition?
4b) Is it run by, or is a complete merger with government?
4c) How is that “for profit” ie Capitalism, not Nationalized, if it’s directed and controlled by law?
5) How is today’s system working compared to previously?Bonus question: 6) If it’s working less good, why don’t we just reverse recent law and go back to less-bad? We tried it, it didn’t improve, un-try it. 6a) Is that because it’s a complete merger of government and corporation? 6b) How is that “Private”?
