Participant“a low trust society in which fraud was taken for granted”
i lived in “a low trust society in which fraud was taken for granted” for many years. (well, i was born in one, grew up in one, and now live in one, but here, the fraud is legal.)
and you know what? the people there were just as trustworthy as the people here.
the difference is, as i will now redundantly state, that in one place the fraud is illegal and in the other it is legal.
same result, though: a government working against the people.
humans is humans. i instruct people from all over the planet how to teach themselves music, yet each “race” or “country of origin” has not its own set of errors.
They All Make The Same Mistakes In The Same Places, regardless of the thickness of their accent.

ParticipantThose Darned Kids,
You have missed several preceding steps in order to make an actual argument rather than fake-argument image-spin reframing. Let me help you.
america: fix your own frikkin’ country and leave the rest of us alone – those darned kids 2/3/2025
So you are not an American.
And you come to me like a beggar, throwing loaded imageries and reframes at me, asking for special treatment – GIVE you all these underlying assumptions for free WITHOUT ASKING.
No, man. First ASK. Convince me. Let’s DISCUSS a few of the assumptions you are begging for while cringing away from touching on directly.
You, a foreigner, should be able to browbeat me, shame me, for my opinions on budget and immigration in MY OWN COUNTRY.
You, a foreigner, should get to tell me that I am not any more a citizen of m country than someone on an H1B visa or here illegally. (Actually, they’re better than you, see below)
You, a foreigner get to try me, find me guilty, shame me, for ASSUMED collective historical guilt?
(There are SUB assumptions in many of your assumptions. Come to me with your begging bowl and ASK me to agree to collective historical guilt. Beseech me for my charity in this matter. To accommodate your weakness in argument. In exchange for what, do I give you this favor?)You apparently, own Racism™? And you don’t need to come out and accuse me directly, just imply it over and over as a given, a basis for discussion? This is evil of you to do. Also dumb and ignorant. And obvious.
–We lost everything and more than half our people to marxists
•• where? You’ll be the judge, eh? Gee, I’m going to be on trial – by you now – to prove myself in this matter? Or maybe you acknowledge it happened, but now details to verify if the genocide that happened was good enough for YOU? Convince me. What value will I derive from making you judge over me? What value are you going to give me in exchange?
–we fully acculturated
•• wowsers! you actually eat “poptarts”?! careful…Yes, demoralization IS important, isn’t it?
You, a foreigner, want, as a basis for discussion, the assumption that the US culture is what, shallow, awful, empty, worse? CONVINCE me. Make your argument then. Sell me on why Americans should have you browbeating them that their country and culture is crap. What benefits do you promise to bring us by giving you this entirely charitable concession?
–we did not come from a low trust society in which fraud was taken for granted
•• holy funk of funkinstein!!!!!! yeah, AMERICA, THE HONEST.Prove the point you are making. Move to, I don’t know, Bangladesh, Liberia, somewhere like that and prove to me that the VERY OBVIOUS is not true, what we call “low-trust” societies are actually no different, better than you actually. Take unlimited quantities of fine upstanding people from these places.
I’m only TOUCHING on all the assumptions built into what you’ve said, foreigner.
Go ahead and beg for your desired ground rules – overtly, openly, and I will consider them.
OR name them and prove them out. Go for it.

ParticipantOh and by the way, foreigner. Do a google maps search for Smoky Mountain National Park. Pan around and see the massive amounts of Cherokee land.
So either you’re super righteous and ignorant, eager to pass judgment on my country while knowing nothing OR you know full well and posture-lie for the “benefit” of onlookers.
Kneejerk saying “Cherokee! Cherokee!!!” seems to be a psyop way of trying to defuse and devalue statements made by Andrew Jackson. Even though he is right. Near as I can figure, that’s the main purpose it serves.

Participanti just think countries are silly things invented by rich people to convince poor people to do nasty things.
people are really nice.
america is wonderful. it’s the world’s best soup. i treat no one as a “foreigner” because we all are just animals. as in, plants and animals.
and if you believe in countries, ¿does a country’s government ever, even a little, represent its “people”, i.e. you?
if you truly come from a place of horror and murder, i truly apologize.
if you do not, i truly apologize as well, as the fact that such things exist embarrass me as an animal.what people call “marxists” and “capitalists” and “this’n’thatists” just strike me as more examples of why human evolution just seems to be stalled.
and, that, is frustrating.
i guess you are speaking within the context of a paradigm that i frankly find primitive. i have oft stated i know i’m a fairydust fool, hoping in vain that i’ll still be here when the year 2627 arrives
but until then,
think of how much nicer your life would be if humans calmed the f@#$ down.
may peace be upon you and your house.

Participant“people are really nice.”
This isn’t true.
“america is wonderful. it’s the world’s best soup. i treat no one as a “foreigner” because we all are just animals. as in, plants and animals.”
This is why your prior statement isn’t true.
“think of how much nicer your life would be if humans calmed the f@#$ down.”
This is true, but somebody is stirring the pot. People are people, they need to belong to a tribe, otherwise they feel like they’re walking around naked and vulnerable. We are same now as we were back when Rome ruled the known world, and we will be the same 2000 years from now if we’re still alive on this planet.

Participant@jb_hb
in regard to you having a go at @TDK
We all have our favorites and both of you are among my favorite commentators here on TAE, so it pains me a to have to say any of what follows, BUT …
jb_hb , foreigners do have the right to get all up in the face with stupid Americans and call out by chapter and verse each and all of the stupidly evil stuff that evil stupid Americans have been party to. Why do they have this inalienable right? Because stupidly evil Americans have, indeed and to the tune of TRILLIONS of dollars over DECADES of time actually DID DO (in the real world) all of those stupidly evil things to those countries. This gives those foreign countries the right to demand that it stop, immediately, and that guilty perpetrators be appropriately punished. The guilty have no right to censor any of it.
And Yet, on the other hand …. and I’m mainly talking to @TDK on this one …..plaintiffs serve no good purpose and they serve no good person (including themselves) when they lambast the WRONG TARGET.
When you lambast America and Americans IN GENERAL, you’re just making the same stupidly evil mistake that Aspnaz and CelticBiker make when they denigrate and demonize an entire population on the sole basis of them being Jewish. It’s not merely stupidy evil. It’s just plain WRONG.
I, for example, and many millions of others, are American and NOT evil and NOT stupid. I take some offense when foreigners paint me with that brush. I also forgive them, but that doesn’t stop me from telling the truth to their face when necessary.

The perpetrators will not work to do much stupidly evil stuff if they aren’t getting paid to do it (and to pay the wages of hired stupidly evil minions).
I look for the stats on stupidly evil crimes against humanity and against reason & logic itself to plummet.

Participanti just think countries are silly things invented…
My Parents Said Know. Huh. Very Inter-Nationalist of you.
What’s additionally weird is that you
1. Implied repeatedly that I bear guilt based on NATION – and you weren’t concerned at all about when my people showed up. Before/After Cherokee. Doesn’t matter. I’m American, right?
2. Then again, any of my concerns about acculturation, level of trustworthiness, massive use of resources by newcomers, were implied-racist
“you are also an immigrant” ie they are just as american as you.
Countries are silly invented ideas. You are implicitly telling me I have no nation, no culture, no people. Interesting and revealing. “It’s a fiction, actually”
But you were invited to show me the benefits of paying you any mind, of automatically conceding your assumptions, but you just went ahead with your begging bowl, asking for favors, charity, special pleading, for me to just go ahead with your assumption again.
Your latest post sounds kind of Inter-Nationalist Socialist to me. You believe in collective guilt. AND in nations as just a fictional oppressive concept? Now you’ve got me wondering if, by collectively shared guilt, you might owe me reparations.
But also you DO believe in nations. You seem to believe in magic dirt.
As you see it, I was able to take on historical guilt. If I can take on the Cherokee, presumably I could take on ANY guilt, since you didn’t verify any particular connection between me or my family and Cherokee. By virtue of being American!
Interesting, the implied guilt based on the thing you argue does not exist.
But for the Indian on an H1B visa, who has had all sorts of genocide and injustice in history and prehistory in HIS country, the magic dirt washed him clean on arrival, didn’t it? Don’t question if HIS culture will be good for YOURS.
Interesting how magic dirt does opposite things for you and also does not exist.

ParticipantWith a catastrophically shrinking army of enlisted minions to project their power and harass opposing forces, the Uni-Blob in Washington is being reduced to just it’s Officer Corps still left standing. That can’t last for long since they, too, were hogging from the same USAID trough that their minions were being paid from. In other words they, too, have had their money cut off because they were living off of the skim and kickbacks as the bread and butter of their income.
How can you buy, bribe, and blackmail the people that you HAVE TO to keep your ass out of jail and continue living in the manner to which you have become accustomed (opulently wanton hedonism) if you haven’t got the money?
Hard times ahead for the libertines. Might be a good time to start seeking redemption.

ParticipantI would love to have one of those computerized scenario analysis systems that are used to model the probable outcomes of situations, sometimes called “War Gaming”. They use this kind of A.I. modeling software frequently in military and political campaigning (much the same thing, n’est ce pas?).
Anyway, I wonder how such War Gaming would predict the near future of the Blob that has been living high on the proceeds of that well greased USAID-Treasury-CIA money machine. It is REAL hard to maintain centralized management when you can’t afford to pay the people that you’re managing.

Gilbert Doctorow opens with assessments of Trump’s personal business style, and business practices now being employed in the hostile-takeover of the federal bureaucracy.
Trump the businessman: what exactly does that mean?
I must clarify that the multibillion-dollar real estate empire which he oversaw in the Trump Organization had a skeletal staff. All the direct reports to him, all of the vice presidents could be accommodated around the board room table, and the rest of the employees were essentially secretarial grade. I know a bit about this because my own business partner from the 1970s, the co-investor in my consulting business, went on, after we closed the company, to become the Vice President, Public Relations to Donald Trump. Norma was very, very discreet, but these harmless details of what it was like working at the top of the Trump Tower were shared with me when we got together from time to time.
The Trump Organization, despite the enormous deals it facilitated or participated in, was run like a family business...
..Firings in corporations are very often a kind of mock execution. You learn about it when you arrive at your office tower and find that the personal possessions from your office are waiting for you at reception and you are barred from entering the building
Note: this is precisely what seems to have happened at USAID. The staff is not allowed in and the papers in their offices are now being studied by the purge team.
Bravo, Mr. Elon Musk. You know very well how corporate reorganizations are done and you are filling in for Donald what his family company experience would have lacked.
But that is not the only corporate practice that is going on in Trump’s government offices today.
When a corporation has hit the wall. When profits have fallen below investor expectations and senior management has been sent to the outplacement consultancies to find new employment, the incoming new management always does the same thing: they examine with a critical eye every corporate operation to find weaknesses that compromise the bottom line or that simply lower the average return on capital below what the stock market seeks. Then the new management uproots radically these parts of operations which no longer fit however dear they may be to old timers in the company.
That is precisely what Elon Musk has brought to the Trump administration and it explains the rumored mass firings at the CIA. The same fate is being prepared for the Department of Education... The coming purge will hit not just one or two people at the top, but the entire staff!
This is the kind of clean sweep that corporate business does all the time. And it is really good to perform at the very start of the new Trump term so that none of the Deep State installed by Dick Cheney in 2001 hangs around to do more harm to our country and to the world. https://gilbertdoctorow.com/2025/02/05/trump-the-businessman-what-exactly-does-that-mean/ Elon Musk, “Special Government Employee” (a job that times-out in late May)
Billionaire Elon Musk is categorized as a “special government employee” through his work with the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, a cost-cutting initiative created by President Trump to find ways to trim federal spending.
Musk’s employee status was confirmed by White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt on Monday, although she added that she wasn’t sure whether the Tesla CEO has gained security clearance.
DOGE, which isn’t a federal department, has drawn criticism from Democratic lawmakers and sparked several lawsuits since Mr. Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20, with some claiming Musk’s DOGE is violating various laws...
..In an emailed statement to CBS MoneyWatch, Leavitt said, “Elon Musk is a special government employee and has abided by all applicable federal laws.”
Here’s what to know about the “special government employee” designation.
A special government employee, or SGE, is someone who”who works, or is expected to work, for the government for 130 days or less in a 365-day period,” according to the Department of Justice.
The role was created in 1962 as a way to enable the government to tap outside expertise, according to the publication Government Executive. A special government employee can be paid or unpaid, the Justice Department notes.
SGEs “are subject to most rules, although sometimes in a less restrictive way,” including ethics and conflict of interest rules, the Justice Department states.
But SGEs also are prohibited from working on issues that impact their financial interests, as well as their spouses, children or organizations in which they work or serve as a director or trustee. Some of Musk’s businesses rely on the federal government’s contracts, including SpaceX. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/elon-musk-special-government-employee-what-does-that-mean/ Nicole Shanahan: “On the topic of of DOGE, I don’t think people are hearing exactly what DOGE is. It’s yes. It’s an efficiency agency, but what really is it? I’ve heard from, an incoming agency head that what DOGE is, it’s a data mining research arm that can answer any budgetary question by department. And, I’ve seen it, you know, executed now a few times where an individual will ask, you know, tell me, everything about where department dollars are going overseas.” “And they can deliver that and tell you every individual who is hired to execute specific programs. Now before DOGE, in order for you to answer some of these questions, you would have to either hire consulting team or build a team internally to do that work. It was very slow. You oftentimes wouldn’t get clean answers. So acting on efficiency goals with, like, inter agency was almost impossible.” “So having this, like, external almost consulting team that has some of the best data miners and organizers we have in this country because each department has its own team, I’ve been told, about five or six people dedicated. And, and they’re really smart, very thoughtful, tech savvy. So they’re they’re actively mining information and turning it into, solutions in in just a matter I mean, USAID, you said he did over the weekend. I mean, they’re moving so rapidly. It’s fascinating.” https://x.com/newstart_2024/status/1887178681849942517

First Spy Plane, Now US Navy’s Nuclear-Powered Aircraft Carrier Spotted Off Mexico’s Coast
Days after a US Air Force RC-135V/W Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft carried out a signals intelligence (SIGINT) operation over cartel-controlled areas in Baja California, the US Navy’s nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, the USS Nimitz (CVN 68), was spotted off Mexico’s northern coast on Wednesday afternoon...
..Trump’s shock weekend tariffs on goods from Mexico, Canada, and China were mainly tools to get neighboring countries on board with operations to “disrupt and dismantle” Mexican drug cartels, as well as prepare for the busting of command and control centers operated by Chinese transnational organized crime networks. https://www.zerohedge.com/military/first-spy-plane-now-us-navys-nuclear-powered-aircraft-carrier-spotted-mexicos-coast Mexican cartels hunting down Border Patrol agents with kamikaze drones, explosives
The internal memo, which was titled “Officer Safety Alert,” said, “On February 1, 2025, the El Paso Sector Intelligence and Operations Center (EPT-IOC) received information advising that Mexican cartel leaders have authorized the deployment of drones equipped with explosives to be used against US Border Patrol agents and US military personal currently working along the border with Mexico.” https://americanmilitarynews.com/2025/02/mexican-cartels-hunting-down-border-patrol-agents-with-kamikaze-drones-explosives/ Drug cartels are quite capable of meeting the US and Mexican armies
It is possible that a joint special operation by the military, police and other forces of the United States and Mexico against drug cartels will be carried out. The whole point is that these drug cartels really control the north of Mexico, they are the power there, and appointed government officials are often killed there.
It should be taken into account that the beginning of air strikes, and especially the introduction of troops, will immediately turn the thugs and murderers from drug cartels into guerrillas and fighters for national liberation. There is not and will not be a continuous front line, and other things. Drug cartel fighters do not wear uniforms and do not hold formations in the open air. The surrounding terrain (relief) is favorable for ambushes and as long as they have the support of the local population, it will be difficult to destroy them.
Both sides will likely use the experience of the Ukrainian conflict, i.e. the large-scale use of kamikaze UAVs, bomber UAVs, interceptor UAVs, FPV drones, loitering munitions and other similar means... It is extremely important for the US and Mexican armies to ensure their machinery protection from drones and antitank missiles, otherwise everything will be burned. Mexico and Washington must also take care of the transportation and storage of fuel, ammunition, food, water and everything else. Without supplies, the troops will suffer heavy losses.
As for drug cartels, these are stable paramilitary organized crime groups that have long since surpassed the level of large but simple gangs. In their structure, they are close to full-fledged military structures. They have intelligence, counterintelligence, agents, “special forces” groups (thugs), “infantry” units (ordinary fighters), saboteurs, hackers, officers (unit commanders), auxiliary services and management bodies. They already have experience in fighting in urban areas and in mountainous terrain with American and Mexican police. There are no serious problems with the supply of light drones… if there are a lot of homemade FPV drones, they will replace a serious range of weapons. One of the most experienced in this regard is the Jalisco drug cartel, whose operators carry out entire offensive operations using drones.
Thus, the drug cartels have established themselves well in this area. They are quite capable of meeting the US and Mexican armies. They can hold out for quite a long time, but it all depends on the losses the US suffers. If the drug cartels hold out for 4 years, it will be a personal fiasco for Trump. https://en.topcor.ru/56343-narkokarteljam-vpolne-po-silam-vstretit-armii-ssha-i-meksiki.htmlFebruary 6, 2025 at 10:56 pm #181566John Day

President Trump might have just written his suicide note. He has declared that Iran, the country with zero to gain by assassinating him, would be “obliterated” if it did so. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly gifted US President Donald Trump with a golden pager and a regular one, a reference to the clandestine operation that decimated the Hezbollah terror group. “That was a great operation,” Trump responded. https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/report-netanyahu-gifted-trump-a-golden-pager-us-president-that-was-a-great-operation/ Netanyahu gives Trump ‘Hezbollah pager’
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented US President Donald Trump with a gold-plated pager during their meeting at the White House in Washington on Tuesday, according to Israeli media. The gift, which was accompanied by a standard pager, is an apparent reference to Israel’s covert sabotage operation against Hezbollah.
Trump reacted to Netanyahu’s gift by calling the Israeli attacks a “tremendous operation,” media reports claimed. In return, he gave Netanyahu a signed photograph of their meeting, with the message: “To Bibi, a great leader.”
Thousands of pagers, primarily used by Hezbollah members, exploded simultaneously across Lebanon and Syria on last September. The following day, hundreds of walkie-talkies detonated in a similar wave. The attacks reportedly resulted in at least 42 fatalities, including 12 civilians – and injured over thousands, including women and children.
The operation was widely attributed to Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and perceived as a preemptive strike. In the aftermath, Israel intensified its military campaign in Lebanon, culminating in the assassination of long-time Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in a September 27 airstrike on Beirut.
In November, Netanyahu publicly acknowledged for the first time that Israeli intelligence was behind the sabotage. Tehran wants the US to “rein in Israel if Washington is seeking a deal” with the country.
“Iran does not agree with any displacement of Palestinians and has communicated this through various channels. However, this issue and the path of Iran’s nuclear agreement are two separate matters and should be pursued separately,” the senior diplomat added.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said earlier that the US president’s concerns about Tehran obtaining nuclear weapons are unfounded because the country is committed to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and there is a fatwa (religious ruling) by the supreme leader prohibiting the creation of such weapons. https://tass.com/world/1909109February 6, 2025 at 10:57 pm #181567John Day
Participant Trump calls for ‘nuclear peace agreement’ with Iran rather than blowing country ‘to smithereens’

The US president claims ‘really rich nations’ are prepared to fund the forced displacement of over two million Palestinians to other countries https://thecradle.co/articles/trump-repeats-call-for-complete-ethnic-cleansing-of-gaza-after-netanyahu-meeting Mind readers can’t agree What Trump Really Wants in Gaza
The idea of the United States taking over the Gaza Strip is so clearly unfeasible that it can’t be credibly regarded as an option any time soon.
Analysts and foreign-policy professionals will therefore be interested in figuring out whom Trump is trying to pressure by staking out such an extreme position that could move the goalposts and disrupt postwar planning for the Gaza Strip.
This is all happening as the negotiations for the second phase of the cease-fire and hostage deal between Israel and Hamas are being negotiated—a stage that begins to deal with more political and strategic issues related to Gaza’s future and recovery.
Trump is likely seeking to pressure Arab nations into doing more for Gaza through his threats of the United States taking over the Gaza Strip—signaling that he would reluctantly have to get involved if they don’t take the initiative.
This includes Gulf nations, which he hopes will finance Gaza’s recovery and reconstruction. Egypt and Jordan—while unable to take in displaced Palestinians for obvious geopolitical, economic, security, and social issues—may be expected to play a more significant security role in Gaza, with the ultimate goal of preventing Hamas’s monopoly on power and authority in Gaza. https://foreignpolicy.com/projects/trump-presidency-personnel-cabinet-policy-issues/?article_anchor=united-states-takeover-gaza-reconstruction-trump-netanyahuSimplicius, Trump Announces ‘Levantine Riviera’: The Ethnic Cleansing and Terraforming Mega-Project of Tomorrow! (Don’t Worry It’s for the People!)
Trump stunned the world today with his blithely unapologetic plans for the mass ethnic cleansing and terraforming of Gaza, after receiving a “golden pager” memento from a smirking Netanyahu…
..The amount of contradiction leaves one’s head spinning like a dreidel. “No one can live there, the place is hell,” a hangdog, puffy-eyed Trump explains, only moments before triumphantly declaring that the place will be turned into a casino-like ‘Levantine Riviera’ for “the people of the world”; might those be chosen people, mayhaps?
Trump argues that Palestinians deserve to live where they aren’t going to ignominiously “die”, so that’s why an artificial refugee camp—sorry, town—should be erected in Jordan, yet he forgets to mention that the man beside him is the reason those natives-to-the-land are ‘mysteriously’ dying in droves…
..Finally, CNN’s Kaitlan Collins asks him directly will the Gazans be able to return, and if not, who does Trump envision living in Gaza after the US turns it into a “beautiful place”? Trump’s response is an historic study in slippery artifice..“I envision…world people living there.” World people? Do they happen to be related to the mysterious Sea Peoples, by any chance? Come to ransack and reclaim the Levant for a second time in as many millennia? Anthropologists the world over are in suspense…
..Am I the only one thinking a pager memento is more a subtly threatening reminder to stay in line, rather than a charming keepsake from an old friend? …
..Ultimately we have to wait and see precisely what Trump has in mind for the supposed ‘American’ take-over of Gaza; there could be more to it than meets the eye. Israel, of course, always plays the long game, with Netanyahu likely acquiescing to Trump’s plan even if it ostensibly does not give Israel control of Palestine—for now—because Netanyahu knows in his spleen of spleens that American presidents come and go, but the settler colony will always pullulate like a tumor, long after the mortal mandates of its commandeered puppets have expired…
..In the meantime, Trump is reportedly getting ready to finally withdraw from Syria for good—if you can believe it, that is…
..It’s the latest example of Trump’s erratically schizophrenic foreign policy. Having promised no more wars or foreign military involvement, Trump is set to remove US troops from Syria while dispatching a new batch to the ‘Red Riviera’ on the ex-Gaza strip—talk about shell games!
Lastly, if you didn’t have your fill of ‘America First’ #winning for the day, enjoy your final emetic morsel…
..Remember the earlier video of Trump’s speech, which elicited much criticism regarding the usually extemporaneous Trump robotically ‘reading’ a prepared statement given him by his ‘AIPAC handler’? …

Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney, who served in President Trump’s first administration, said he was puzzled to hear the president lay out a proposal for the United States to take control of the Gaza Strip. “It wasn’t him. It was not his language,” Mulvaney said in an interview on NewsNation’s “The Hill”….
..Trump said U.S. troops would be used to secure the Gaza Strip “if it’s necessary.”
“I was watching him, the man who worked for so long to get us out of the forever war in Afghanistan, was up here behind the podium saying, ‘We’re going to go and occupy this land for the next 10 or 15 years,’” Mulvaney said. “It made no sense to me.”
Mulvaney suggested the proposal could have been someone else’s idea.
“And as I sat and I watched the energy level, some of the language, some of the reports that came out afterward in the press, some of the leaks that came out about the process, it sounded to me more like Jared Kushner than it did like Donald Trump,” Mulvaney said. https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5129614-mulvaney-trumps-gaza-strip-proposal/February 6, 2025 at 10:58 pm #181568John Day

Trump’s proposal to remove the Arabs from Palestine to Saudi Arabia repeats the scheme of President Franklin Roosevelt of February 1945. That was on the prompting and scripting of the White House advisers, David Niles (Neyhus), Benjamin Cohen, Samuel Rosenman, Israel Sieff, and Max Lowenthal. For that story, read The Jackals’ Wedding... [image] On board the USS Quincy on February 14, 1945, President Roosevelt meeting King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud (ibn Saud) with Colonel William Eddy interpreting. Roosevelt had already announced in the US: “Palestine should be for the Jews and no Arabs should be in it.” https://johnhelmer.net/trump-the-genocidalist-attacks-on-the-northern-front/#more-91043 Gilbert Doctorow believes the US dog wags the Israeli tail. I wonder if Trump’s AIPAC-handler Kushner passed him a last minute note just before the presser, ‘Judging Freedom’ edition of 5 February: Kremlin on Trump’s Call for Ceasefire
The Judge solicited my opinion on the body language of Prime Minister Netanyahu at the joint press conference with Trump yesterday when the President set out his plans for an American take-over of Gaza and its redevelopment into the Riviera of the Middle East. Indeed, it was clear to me that this was the first that Netanyahu was hearing of this plan, and he was initially stunned and then accepting of it.
What was going on there? Trump was trapping Netanyahu into something that he could not say ‘no’ to, into something that would make it very, very difficult for him to resume his bombings and genocide in Gaza after the expiration of Phase One of the cease-fire agreement with Hamas.
Of course, there is not a chance of a snowball in hell that the expulsion of the Gazans and redevelopment of their homeland into a Riviera will ever take place. It is just a fiction that serves as an off ramp for Netanyahu…
..Meanwhile, the Zionists in America are rejoicing and all others are dumbfounded, scratching their heads over what looks like an utterly stupid plan by Trump. Stupid like a fox, I say.
The relevance of this charade to the Ukraine war is clear to me: do not take anything that Trump is saying aloud or that his emissary General Kellogg is saying about the cease fire they want to impose on Putin… But this will happen only if there are now backchannels to the Kremlin discussing a much wider ranging agenda for the forthcoming summit that takes in the items most dear to the Russians, namely revision of the security architecture of Europe, removal of al medium range missiles from Europe and more.
Then there is something else that the Kremlin must be watching closely, namely the purge of the Deep State that they say controls American foreign policy. The attack on USAID has been a very good signal to the Kremlin. Similarly, they must be watching with greatest interest the rumored firing of nearly all staff at the CIA. In a word, if the evildoers and evil institutions in the American Deep State are purged, as seems to be underway, then the Russians can genuinely be optimistic of concluding substantial agreements with Trump. https://gilbertdoctorow.com/2025/02/05/judging-freedom-edition-of-5-february-kremlin-on-trumps-call-for-ceasefire/Jordan prepared for war against Israel if Netanyahu attempts to forcibly expel Palestinians into their territory https://endtimeheadlines.org/2025/02/jordan-prepared-for-war-against-israel-if-netanyahu-attempts-to-forcibly-expel-palestinians-into-their-territory/

same thing’s happening now.
