Anti-biotics are the main reason I cut way back on meat over 2 decades ago. Beef was a no-no.
I can and do order most of my dishes sans meat; the exception is Guiteow (noodles), a spicy Thai noodle soup. I have with bbq. pork (Chinese style). I’m working on a recipe without the pork. Probably tofu (fried) or scrambled eggs (dry).
Most of our friends here are very cautious regarding debt, and for the most part, own their homes free and clear (as do we).
The BoT seems prone towards unfounded optimism re: the economy. The ฿aht has been strengthening for the last 3 years and the exporter are screaming bloody murder. I have a personal stake in this because I’m paid in USD’s. Cost me roughly 15% the last two years especially. Ouch!
