I was awoken by the most incredible explosion, I think around 4am. Our entire apartment shook. Nobody yet knows how many are killed, first estimate I am hearing is about 90 dead and hundreds injured. Desperate rescue attempts ongoing.

I tried the Unitarian Universalist church a few years back. After I watched an entire sermon mean-girling their founder Thomas Jefferson into total irredeemable icky deplorableness, I gave up on those guys.
…but because I was on their mailing list, a year or two later, I got all these incessant emails detailing some weird emerging scandal with the 2 pastors having an affair and cheating on their spouses while doing meth, so the new pastor had to leave, but the female pastor stayed and continued preaching! I went there for like half a year and her sermons were generally just LGBTQ – sometimes she would get stuck in some sort of fugue state and just chant the letters up there behind the pulpit.
The church council did not kick her out (or couldn’t kick her out?) People bring their kids there for sunday school, day care, etc because the building and the names follow the old forms from churches from 1995 or 1985 or 1935. When I drive by there now, there’s an ever-increasing number of LGBT and Antifa-BLM paraphanalia – a slow, ever-creeping escalation that, due to seeing it fairly often, does not shock, but if you went from 2015 to present, you’d be shocked wtf bro. Banners, rows of quasi totem poles, various other things. No sense of alarm, wariness, moment of skepticism?
Weirdly, the first thought that popped into my head after seeing the Lutheran Church hating and cancelling Lutherans was – they’ll cut off natural gas, coal, etc for us, they’ll require us to use only electric cars on a power grid that cannot power them but they will not upgrade, they won’t build new nuke plants for us, but they WILL do all those things for AI without hesitation or question. Maybe it was their “anti-human” accusation.
