..It is currently impossible to find out whether the Air Base was damaged or destroyed, but the approximate range of the targets of Iranian Missiles is quite clear: Air Bases.

In truth, Iran openly admitted notifying the US—and thereby Israel—of the strikes in advance, which gave Israel forewarning to take all their F-35s to the sky. This is standard procedure for high value assets like that before any strike, regularly carried out by both Ukraine and Russia in the SMO.
There are allegedly reports that Israel did in fact take its F-35 fleet to the skies as evidenced by a fleet of refueling tankers that were airborne, which suggests the F-35s were kept aloft throughout the duration of the attack…

But surely they fired up and flew those birds out of there before… oh yeah, the 35 probably has a boot-up time longer than Windows 98.
They also claimed to have hit Mossad in Tel Aviv. And an Israeli natural gas facility.
I’ve watched a few videos of missiles streaming in and either passing over a range of hills or hitting without exploding. I’ve seen some claims that Israeli antimissile launches are being shown in reverse for propaganda purposes.
I DID find some videos from Tel Aviv with explosions DEFINITELY visible at the end of the missile’s arc. Definitely not a launch.
If Iran accomplished all that they claim, that’s breathtaking and there will be hell to pay. Time to buy some oil futures or calls or some other upward-price instrument, I suppose.
The videos with missiles passing over occupied territory, what must those lights in the sky mean to those people. Someone cares. Someone is capable of resistance.
But of course Blackrock and other entities that unemployed me, prevented me from owning a home, and vilified me based on immutable characteristics sit somewhere in the background of those targets, just like in The Ukraine. And maybe my heart swells a bit as well.
It would not take much for Western leadership to avoid this type of intrinsic reaction in their own populace, but apparently, they cannot even lie based on modeling what a normal person WOULD say or think. So it is this.
Since my introduction to Peak Oil back in 2005, I have heard QUITE a lot about resource depletion, demand destruction, limits to growth, etc. Over the years, I’ve quite a lot of commentary claiming that the elites are purposely working on demand destruction.
But since 2005, what I see is the elites engaging in massive boondoggles consuming massive quantities of currency and resources. Unworkable, unscalable, inefficient toxic “green” technologies, massive military deployments and wars, hugely expensive migrations, ever-greater spending on various programs that are pointless and wasteful – thus use even more resources.
If I were to ignore everything I’ve read and look at just what has been DONE in the past 20 years, I’d interpret it as analogous to the 1985 movie Brewster’s Millions, in which Richard Pryor has to spend 30 million in 30 days to inherit 300 million or he gets nothing.
Who can say if there IS a resource crunch unless you have the actual data. 20 years of behavior seem more in line with Heinlein’s Door Into Summer, where workers build vehicles then immediately send them to the junkyard and have them crushed. Jack London, in his 1908 Steampunk sci-fi novella The Iron Heel, uses dialogue to explain how Capitalists need to rid themselves of “excess capital” that usually ends up being spent to capture the institutions. Just, always excess capital being generated, lying around, piling up, gumming up the works, has to be disposed somehow.
So you get 800 bases, infinite migration, build-out of new wasteful toxic inferior infrastructure, wars, and so on? Fine. I give up, elites. There is no resource crunch. You finally convinced me. You’re in some sort of Brewster’s Millions scenario – someone told you if you spend 30 Trillion you can get 3 Quadrillion? So you’re just desperately trying to get it spent?
A few suggestions – try building some Cathedrals. They’re beautiful to look at, have great acoustics, and uplift the people that see them, but are totally useless. (as far as you’re concerned) National Parks are also non-productive. You could spend a few billion and make all the roads in the parks safe for animals with fences and underpasses. And they are deplorably useless!
What about all those CCC and WPA programs? Employing people to go around documenting all the folk music in the country, building beautiful National Park lodges, making tons of cool posters, sending Guthrie to travel the nation singing to people? Isn’t this just as good of a waste?
I get that not only do you waste money on bombs, but there’s the destruction of water processing plants, power plants, and homes – but do you realize how many ugly streets there are in the USA? If you can convince people to inject themselves and their children with poison, surely you can brainwash them into being willing to tear down and replace ugly structures?
And don’t forget the arts. Think of the MASSIVE amount of artwork – from large “modern” monstrosities to abstract hotel and office wall art. How many billions – nay, trillions – of art needs to be destroyed and replaced with competent if not inspired stuff? Surely this would be sufficiently similar to war?
Guitars and guns are the same – you have to buy it to try it out, which is how people end up with an “arsenal” after a couple decades. There’s 15 Million guitar players in the US – send them each a guitar. I could use a Troy Van Leeuwen Jazzmaster with Kinman Fatmaster pickups. You can slap a compound radius Rubato carbon fibre neck with Grover locking tuners on there while you are about it You already know where I live, my delivery availability time frames, my passwords, when I use my washing machine, my walking gait, presumably which of my eye movements indicates interest or disinterest and the composition of my stool etc so I know you know how to get it to me. I promise to do my part in your excess capital destruction plan and wiggle air molecules in a totally non-productive way.
