At some point it’s too far out to pay and plan effectively, and that’s where the rational limit would be.
…And why they’re so pissed off if you ruin their “Plans”. That’s not just “A Plan” that’s like we already sunk $6 Billion and 9 year’s time into that idiotic Global Warming or “Republicans R Weird” stuff or whatever. All that money’s gone, just like Disney. Like one bad Presidential Candidate.
So, flip side? All you have to do is ruin their “Plans”, their timing. Change your mind every 9 Scaramuccis and make them run around wasting more of themselves with more “Plans”. Easy. So easy a cave man can do it and did. We’re doing this daily and it’s hilarious.
However, as above, you also have a weakness, because having no plan of your own won’t work. If there’s no Plan, no Vision, no Goal, by default it becomes kinda theirs.
