You, on the other hand, seem to prefer that everybody else hush up and remain silent so that the people such as yourself who “know better than everyone else” can have their say uninterrupted by any information that might corner them into learning something.
Essentially our point of difference is that I stand a chance of getting smarter than I am now , and you do not.

Female international activist killed by Israeli gunfire in Beita
NABLUS, September 6, 2024 (WAFA) – A 26-year-old female international activist succumbed to her wounds on Friday after being shot and critically injured in the head by Israeli occupation forces in Beita, a town located south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.The activist, who was identified as Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, an American of Turkish descent, was shot in the head by live ammunition while participating in the weekly protest against settlement expansion.
Medical sources confirmed that the activist was rushed to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus and placed in the intensive care unit. Despite the efforts of medical teams to save her, she passed away due to her severe injuries.
Local sources indicated that the confrontation erupted when Israeli forces violently suppressed the protest, which involved firing live ammunition, stun grenades, and tear gas at demonstrators. The same incident also resulted in an 18-year-old Palestinian being injured by shrapnel in the thigh.
The activist was involved with the Faz’a campaign, which works to support and protect Palestinian farmers from Israeli military and settler violations.

In fairness I have to admit that you are not completely wrong, insofar as I do like to play with language, and I do enjoy articulating complicated or difficult concepts in succinct or humorous ways, BUT the reason for those behaviors has nothing whatsoever to do with loving to lecture or even enjoying it, because I do not. At all.
The reason is that digging truths from heaps of lies and deceit is arduous, thankless and usually painful, because as a human the lies as often as not are found first within myself, and only later seen to be more generally applicable. Guilt and shame are not pleasant. They are merely obligatory.
The word play adds a little humor and articulating a complexity into its simplicity derives a little gratification. The two at once give me just enough help me tolerate the agony that is the price of redemptive truth, and the going is slow.
As for lecturing to others, I would rather roll a rock up a hill, but I have little choice because the alternative is infinitely worse.
I didn’t see your comment #168440 until this morning (Saturday, Sept 7), but it is beautiful. Just the sort of metaphorically expressed distillation of truth that makes the work worth the effort.
