The puppeteers maneuvering Sleepy Joe are arrogant, perhaps condescending, but they are pros: they redirect the populace’s attention to some distraction while the real shenanigans are being perpetrated… bread, circus and then collapse – sticks and stones will break one’s bones, at WW IV.

    Greetings,

One can regard the general response to the trendy virus as:
    a) A global conspiracy theory working its way through;
    b) global stupidity reaching a paroxysmic peak.

Is it only me who considers b) as far worse than anything else?

To the casual observer, clear thinking is like a glossy, spotless surface: one can hardly fathom what lurks beneath.

    A better idea

Most of us have accepted the prison our ancestors built for us.
For awhile we thought that embellishing the prison’s walls was all we needed.
Now that many of the inmates are going crazy we complain and do nothing.
Complaining is foolish but doing nothing is fine,
    because you cannot prevent
    the ebb and flow.

    Rights vs. Needs

(Lets imagine you want to keep on living.) You are presented with the following options:
    a) To be placed in a prison with guaranteed regular meals.
    b) To be placed in the middle of a desert with guaranteed unrestrained freedom.

Take your pick and act accordingly.

(First you take care of the fundamental needs – then you go around proselytizing about rights, disturbing everyone else’s peace of mind and making a nuisance out of yourself.)

    80

If a country is governed wisely,
    its inhabitants will be content.
They enjoy the labor of their hands
    and don’t waste time inventing
    labor-saving machines.
Since they dearly love their homes,
    they aren’t interested in travel.
There may be a few wagons and boats,
    but these don’t go anywhere.
There may be an arsenal of weapons,
    but nobody ever uses them.
    People enjoy their food,
take pleasure in being with their families,
spend weekends working in their gardens,
delight in the doings of the neighborhood.
And even though the next country is so close
that people can hear its roosters crowing and its dogs barking,
they are content to die of old age
without ever having gone to see it.

Nobody wants to understand how scary this is. Freedom is a basic right.
    • EU’s Green Pass Will Only Be Valid With EMA-Approved COVID Vaccinations (EN)

There is no such thing as “rights” – there are only needs.

Rights are an abstract construct created by any given human group (a society). Rights are devised, implemented, changed and canceled at society’s whim.

Needs are real. You have to satisfy them as a long as you want to remain a viable living entity/species, regardless of any rights you may think you are entitled to.

There are 6 fundamental needs (5 complementary and 1 supplementary):
    – To breathe.
    – To sleep.
    – To excrete.
    – To exert self-restraint.
    – To eat.
    (the supplementary)
    – To procreate.

[Listed by decreasing order of importance, “importance” here meaning degree of control (= ability to suppress it at will for unrestricted periods of time) one has over a particular need.]

Human evolution: from simple clumsiness to clumsy complexity.

We are better than our ancestors because, instead of grunting while using rocks and body strength, we now also use plastics, electricity and words to make mistakes and commit crimes.

After all, there’s nothing like feeling effortlessly cool and restrained while doing things – even of the despicable kind – to make everything look definitely better.

(What is the goal of the portraitist? To depict things; simple as that.)

    Q. Where are the “serious” scientists?

    A. “Serious” scientists are, like all the rest, human beings: they have human needs and human whims to fulfill. When choices boil down to seriousness vs. salary the former goes MIA.

A humble suggestion to all scientists out there, “serious” or callous: grab a copy of A Canticle for Leibowitz and ponder about the future.

    Greetings,

Humans come with a built-in safety device: death.

The only thing that matters is to avoid prolonged pain before dying – it will be wise to be around someone who can kill you fast in such a case (it will also be advisable to man up yourself to the task if this happens to the one(s) you lay your trust with.)

You can only see what you are able to see.

Obsession with what we can lose, obsession with what we can achieve.

    Confucius
    – 100 years scope: teach the people? For the most part, people have short-term learning skills; only a few are able to effectively learn during the span of the regular studying years, and even less are capable to learn during a full lifetime. The effort and resources spent on “mass education” were never meant to elevate the people or to shape the future beyond the scope of a mere few foreseeable years: its main purpose was to create short-term specialized cogs for the “ism” du jour. Currently it also serves to mask the unemployment figures/tone down general discontent by delaying for as long as possible the incorporation of the young into the labour force. The populace mind control side of it, the “prolonged kindergartism”, are just side effects welcomed by TPTB.

    Martin Luther King Jr.
    – Apples and oranges: love and justice – unlike power – are nothing but personal concepts, not Universal principles. Mixing “love & justice” with power is just fancy wordplay suited to entertain the pseudo-learned populace.

Unlike men, who bond together in groups to napalm innocent children because some higher up told them to.
    (madamski)

And children killed by women, aren’t they also innocent?
Are some innocents more innocent than other? Some murders more gruesome than other?

It’s all too easy to let the passions obfuscate the reasoning – ataraxia is possible yet elusive, but always transient, as everything else.

    Vaccine passport

Vaccination proof is not a matter of public health, it’s simply a matter of compliance.
How long will it take for people to realize this?
How long will it take to understand that the real threat to mental health is not the supposed virus but the measures used to “flatten the curve” and the fear mongering campaign waged by the current sociopath crop in charge?

At this point in time the entities behind the Covid charade are just getting off on their ability to push the populace’s gullibility to its – seemingly nonexistent – limits. What is the average daily death toll per country for the past nine months?
The explanation that everybody would understand would be: «In our country, last year on average x people died each day; in 2020 and up until now on average x+many people died each day. That staggering increase can only be attributed to the new virus.»
Why is this information being withheld?
What is the real extent of the staggering increase in deaths that is being used as an excuse to destroy the lives of healthy, normal adults and children?

The countries with the most draconian measures are between the most advanced in the world, they have access to the latest and most accurate data – what are they hiding?
